  1. I healthy ready to play Kassian would be a boost to any teams bottom-6. But that's the million dollar question. I hope Zack is ok, always loved this guy's game when healthy.
  2. Yip, Nemeth is definitely a low buy option that suits our needs.
  3. Love Kassian. Not sure if he's still battling the demons though. If he is clean I'd love to see this guy back and on the fourth line.
  4. If they give Soucy eight years, I'm out. And I like Soucy and would love to add hm to the team.
  5. I would of given him another year, but I don't know all the details. I don't entirely buy all the injury excuses either He always looks weak and out of shape. I question his will. He's a seven million doller Juolevi equivalent, both players lacked commitment imho.
  6. If that's our starting D, we may as well just kept OEL.
  7. I'm still bitter over this, both the original acquisition cost and subsequent buyout. Looking back, OEL would only waive to go to Boston or Vancouver. We had Arizona over a barrel and still made what may be the worst trade in franchise history. Wow. The sting may heal a bit if the right moves are to follow. This is just a dark stain on a club that has a lot of misses lately.
  8. This guy is a tool. But it is nice seeing someone take a shot at a Bettman run league. Bettman never sees an issue with anything. Always rosie in Bettman land.
  9. This for sure. Just a hunch, but this may be another American that doesn't want to play in Canada with our taxes, rules.
  10. Bear is a smart player, always has been. I watched him in the WHL and was always impressed with his game sense. Weather or not he fits this team is another thing. But Bear is a good dman that seems a tweener between bottom pairing and top four.
  11. It's a near stalemate at times for teams for try to change things up because of the flat cap. Frustrating.
  12. The years of a basically flat cap have been killer. Maybe the NHL could of implemented a one buyout per team type deal to help loosen things up this off season.
  13. This is just fugly. I need to finish my beer and probably two to three more to let this sink in. What an ffnn brutal course of events from LE, to the OEL trade, to years of dead cap. I'm pissed. If OEL plays well somewhere next year I'm hunting him down and going Tanya Harding on him.
  14. As long as the twins were here, that made sense. Then around the time of the twins careers coming to an end Linden was wanting the proper rebuild which makes sense.
  15. JT will be fine and with the cap going up the 8 million per isn't that bad. JT is the way better player for the first five years at least is my guess, plays with edge, plays center, and won't dissappear at playoff time. JT was killer in the Rangers run years ago. It's not just points, it's being tough to play against even if you aren't putting up points.
  16. Lol, and folks on here want to trade JT Miller. Miller is so much a better player than this guy. Love JT and what he brings and so glad we have him locked up.
  17. Ryan is quite a successful story of perseverance and hard work. Nice to see him staying in the bigs.
