  1. My wife sure is, lol. Funny. He was coaching a kids team tournament here years ago. He was making his away across the ice with all the moms pressed against the glass looking into the rink. Lol, they were all just giddy for hours after that.
  2. It's still a great trade. The blame is on Coach Ghandi and BB, EP being duds this year. That and loosing what little toughness we had to waivers. Joke of training camp on Ghandi trying to summon the fourth line gods help on roster decisions.
  3. That has the Benning second round pick special written all over it.
  4. It's a rebuild, retool, revamp. It's not working. I've been vocal in that I am ok with the skillset. I still love the OEL Garland trade. But I can't blame JB for BB and EP taking steps back. I've been vocal for JB re-hiring Green aka Coach Ghandi. Mostly vocal on the physically weak lineup. All that turnover and this is as weak a Canucks lineup I've ever seen. No push. A decade later and Marchand embarrassed us again. Low point for me and JB has to be held accountable for it. If not now, year end or when a viable candidate presents himself.
  5. No penalty on the play. Refs are a joke and always biased calling for the original six. Especially in their home barns.
  6. I don't think JB had a choice though. Aqua wanted this. Trevor was on board till the twins retired. Then he was punted for wanting a rebuild. JB went along with it to save his job. In my opinion.
  7. Ok. Time for a new thread then. "Evander Kane, could we have really used him" lol.
  8. Attendance will suffer for sure. As it should. Aqua needs to be hit in the pocket book to maybe realize it's time for experienced management and coaching.
  9. And to be blunt. That's fine. This season is toast. I'd rather Aqua find the right hockey people moving forward. Too bad Malhotra was let go as I think Malhotra and Shaw could take over interm. Two fears though, Green does more damage to the young core. Aqua goes bargain bin shopping for replacements.
  10. I'm fine with roster moves if it aims to the future. Any tweaks to the lineup for "win now" is a waste of assets. To quote Burke. "It's like adjusting the mirrors on the bus as your driving off a cliff".
  11. Sens claim him. Good for Gaudette. With the right fit he may stick for a bit somewhere. So far he's a tweener and has work to do to stick in the NHL. You never know, a light bulb may go off. Or in this case, the right crystals may get rubbed.
  12. Good question. I imagine this kind of trade would need to happen in the off season so that Bo can agree to an extension. If it's Bo agreeing to an extension, I think one for one is fair. Brazal does not come without a few warts as well. He has been criticized for his perimeter play and week defensive play. If the Isles are in win now mode, Bo is quite a catch.
  13. Like it or not this team is headed for a retool at the very least. I look around at other struggling teams, the age of our team, imparticular Hughes and EP. I see something around Bo for Barzal making sense. Cap works. Isles in win now mode. We are in two steps back to move forward mode.
  14. Anyone crapping on Bo is out to lunch. The lack of physical pushback goes way beyond Bo. It's a rotten, weak culture that JB has done nothing to address. In fact, we are as week as ever. With Bo and JT its a conttact thing. It's doubtful these competitors want anything to do with extending with this team. Times to see what they can fetch. It doesn't mean that it happens this week. It's about building up the market for them. I love Bo, he's a true pro and wants to win. This owner and GM have completely failed on building a competitive team around him.
  15. Sorry man, just not seeing the Kerfoot love. I see him as a number three center and we won't agree on this.
