If LE had any character he would mutually tear up his contract. Bogosian, Buff did so. He is holding back the team with a contact he's collected the majority of monies from, 31 of 36 million. He has never come close to earning it. Just go away LE.
It's a crap situation. LE is utterly useless really. I'm not even sure he's a guy teams want in the mix as a veteran leader. Maybe he is but, I'm so jaded at this point I can't comment without being biased.
I predicted this months ago and was roasted by some. It's not just the cap issue restricting the long term deals. Another big issue is the upcoming expansion draft. If a player really wants to stay, and a team really wants the player, a one year deal avoids the protection issue. It's a perfect storm really that may mess with what the Kraken have to pick from. If there are a rash of one year deal it means that fewer players will need to be protected.
Not surprised as it seemed Makar was always the media favorite. But Hughes changed a lot of votes in the end me thinks. Trying not to be biased but I'd vote Quinn. He just completely changed the look of our team. Love this kid.
Beating the Ducks that year would of been so good. We would of faced the Devils and we played them great that year. Thing is if we had Niedermayer it means they wouldn't of. Yikes, what a swing. Ugg.
Not at all. Not a fan of no-contact Nylander either, or any of those players really. Just wanted to make a point on what other teams may be offering up if Ekblad is traded.
Exactly, not wanting to get into who is worth more or less but possible offers from teams needing a stud right side dman start with Nylander, Ehlers, Laine, Johnny Hockey. Just off the top of my head.
Bastards. Guaranteed Marky's agent leaked this. Will get interesting for sure. Comes down to what Marky wants for AAV but if he wants in the 8 per range, does that leave room for the Flames to sign Hall? Even if they get rid of hockey gnome?
Was never the same after Lindstrom and Datsyuk weren't in front of him anymore. Having perennial Selke and Norris Hall of Famers in front of him helped him look better than he was. Was never really a fan of his.
