  1. Lol. I will laff if the Jets sign Laine to anything close to 10 million. Watch the dissention in the room as players like Wheeler and Sheiffele play their butts off for way less dollars than that floater. With the way contracts are going its quite possible.
  2. Never. Plus, there have always been questions surrounding Eichels leadership abilities. Skinner was run out of Carolina because he only plays hard in the offensive side of the ice. Doesn't sound like a winning duo to me for 20 million.
  3. Lol. Same team that brought you Ehrhoffs contact and eventual buyout. I attached the Hoffs's buyout contract. $850,000 per year till 2025, lol. Skinner's contract is gonna look real bad sooner than later.
  4. Career minus player. 40 goals this year and couldn't finish on the plus. What a joke.
  5. Same club that signed Erhoff to that stupid contract and then had to buy him out. This contract will be almost as bad. That's brutal.
  6. Well if Skinner gets 9 and JT gets 11 I gotta think 10 to 10.5 for Panarin. Wow.
  7. Is he a 40 goal guy from this year or the 24 goal guy from the year before? Career assists per season very underwhelming for that kind of money. I'd be choked if JB just signed Skinner for that much, that long.
  8. Me too. Guess I'm old school but that's a ridiculous contract for a one dimensional player that just careered it.
  9. That's a lot for a guy who just careered it. I think it's too much.
  10. Quote from Cassidy. "The narrative changed after Game 3, there was a complaint or whatever put forth by the opposition and it just seems to have changed everything," Cassidy said referencing Craig Berube's criticism of the officiating earlier in the series. I am just loving this all. Shades of 2011 but shoe is on the other foot now. Between blogs, TSN, NHL Network I am enjoying one heck of a morning coffee thanks to the Bruins whining.
  11. I love how the other guys at the table don't want to make eye contact with Neely. Look away, look away.
  12. Its value for a team I'm just not sure if its value for us. We already have Jake who struggles similarly to Pool. Now, If Pool was a big rangy right side dman with upside I see the fit. I guess it would come down to what the Canucks pro scouts thought of the kid. It's an interesting proposal I've thought over many times and just cant say yes or no to. Maybe a three way trade with Pool shipped out for a young dman.
  13. He is an effortless skater for sure. I watched a lot of Oilers games last year and I got to wonder if the kid just doesn't have it between the ears. He seems like he's not in the right spot a lot of times. I've watched a lot of big strong skaters fizzle out in minor hockey. Its almost a curse to be so fast, so big, so young. You never learn to play the game because you don't have to. You can just do your own thing out there. You get away with it until the other kids catch up with speed and size. The others have learned smarts along the way and they are better for it.
  14. Yip. Was watching the game tonight and at one point thought to myself the Canucks have a ways to go for sure.
  15. I thought the Krug head flipping back was embelishemnt when I think it was Sanford that took him into the corner. Kyprios called Krug out on it.
  16. Yip. Boston got schooled on that call but no sympathy from me either. They get the benefit most times as they are just playing "tough Boston hockey". Its especially bad in their own rink where I think visiting refs have Bruins undies on.
  17. Felt contact? His skate abruptly pushed from behind without him knowing it was coming. Not a dive.
  18. We've all had our opinions tonight but we all got to agree. Great game. I love playoff hockey.
  19. I honestly feel the game has gotten so fast a lot of the refs job has changed in just getting out of the way and skating into sightlines they can see through. They are in tough.
