  1. Agreed. We just need to keep in mind that sometimes kids do get tired and burnt out. May or not be the case here. A guy like Bo would have no clue what the term "too much hockey" means. That may not be the same with OJ.
  2. I just hope this isn't the case of a young kid getting burnt out of hockey. Not saying it is or isn't. But I don't like hearing the latest news. If he is sick I wish they would just sit him and list him as sick .
  3. Happy for him. It's there. Now to dial in the consistancy.
  4. It's a fan forum. It's what we do here. Talk about players. Good and bad. In Larsens case. All bad. Has nothing to do with what I can or can't do on the ice. I'm a fan calling out a crap player on my team. Pretty rare stuff eh?
  5. Oh here we go with the "he plays pro, you don't". It's his job and career. I can call him out on it no different then he can call me out on the job I'm doing. He was horrible. Yes, your right he played in the NHL. But He played horribly for us.
  6. Larsen. I just threw up a little in my mouth.
  7. Too bad for Try. Maybe he gets pissed at Mother Russia and wants to come back to play here!
  8. Edler is not appreciated enough. He has his warts yes. But he is a minute munching, physical dman having an awesome year. Cant believe I am writing this. Happy for Eddy.
  9. Probably true. A failed sixth pick is tough to swallow during a rebuild. Will set the rebuild back.
  10. Lol. They could start by dropping the twins and Jake experiment.
  11. If JB thinks it will help to hire Bert he will. He needs JV to work out. A failed sixth overall is a fugly mark on the resume.
  12. Why not bring back Bert to work with JV. I bet you JV grew up watching Bert and admiring his game.
  13. Rome was one of our more physical D too. I still say if that hit was the reverse. A Bruin on a Nuck. All things equal. It wouldn't of even been a penalty. Just "tough Bruin hockey" ffnn crap.
  14. So much talent. Hope he doesn't piss it away. Seems to be trending in the right direction though. BC boy and a Canuck so I think we all want to see him succeed here.
  15. I like the idea of the bonuses.
  16. With our luck with Russians he would never have been that good here.
  17. I noticed that at World Juniors this year as well. He isn't afraid of the contact. Even at his size. You can't teach that.
  18. Yip. So far all has gone well this year but the last three games in Finland and a crap pre-season. Equals bust?
  19. Not concerned. Maybe going from small ice last year to big ice this year then back to small then back to big. All the while adjusting to a heavier weight. If he isn't playing well at the moment then watching from the press box may be educational. After watching every game at the world juniors he is progressing well. He was the best player on the ice for the Fins last game. One step back. Two or three forward is a normal development curve.
  20. Not uncommon to see WHL players struggle when coming back from World Juniors when held in Europe. Rest will do him good. Nothing to see here. Move on.
  21. For sure. Better angle on his shot. The season is a bust. Would it kill Green to throw JV out on 3 on 3. Maybe the kid lites it up and gets a confidence boost.
