  1. Happy or not isn't the point. It's just that to say they should of held out for more seems so hypothetical. It could just as easily blow up in their face or the player gets injured and you get zero.
  2. Bo is a known commodity. If a team really wanted to step up by now, they would of. Canucks could if held back 50 percent of salary which would of fit him in near everywhere. Again, any top team would be offering a late first. A mid first is way more than I imagined in a deep draft.
  3. The fact that Bo wasn't allowed to talk extension may have boosted his value. If he wants too much, he prices himself out of the market for some teams. That's why JR didn't allow it.
  4. Stubborn? We got what looks to be a very high first that a top contender wouldn't have to offer. A real good center prospect. The cap dump will most likely be part of any deal. What are you expecting?
  5. Bo has been on the market for months. I think the bidding was bidded. It's like a stock. You can hold to the last moment but if the market floods or turns, your value is diminished.
  6. It is tough and that game against the Isles will be tough to watch. Bo is a hell of a hockey player and young man.
  7. Oh boy, I hope AB knows what to do when we are down one late in third and want to pull the goalie. Lol
  8. Fair enough, two 18 goal seasons and last year a 12 goal season on a team with only two 20 goal scorers on the roster.
  9. I don't know. Perhaps the only way the Isles make this deal is to shed some cap for further moves. What I do know that with the tight cap most moves will have major cap implications.
  10. Quite likely any trade would invlove a cap dump this day and age. A 25 year old with only another year left on his contract and history of 20 goal seasons isn't that bad of a cap dump.
  11. He has no extension in place at the time of the trade. We are not privy to any possible talks so one is to assume at the time of the trade, a pure rental.
  12. If this pick ends up a number 14, 15 pick this year, is that not one of the highest picks traded for a pure rental in recent memory?
