There you are. I figured when I talked about losers, you'd show up first.
Anyways, not gonna waste my time with you or the others that crawled out of their holes. Funny how so many of you were nowhere to be found during the win streak.
The worst part about all this is the amount of crap we're gonna have to put up with from loser Canucks fans that think this team sucks because they missed the playoffs. Will completely ignore the fact this team has spent most of the year playing .600 hockey, while also completely disregarding the fact they were coached by someone that had no business coaching an NHL team for the first 20 something games of the season. I might need to take a break from this place until draft day. Too many losers are gonna come out of their caves now.
Give them credit for grinding their way out of that huge hole Green left for them to work with. Playing .600+ hockey for months was very admirable and gives us a glimpse into the future.
Season is over, but man, give these guys credit. They've fought tooth and nail for weeks to get here. If only Green was canned a couple weeks earlier....
So I went and took a look myself... St Louis Blues ... 15 losses against non-playoff (crap tier) teams this season... I guess that makes the Blues a garbage team ranked 8th overall in the entire NHL that should be blown up.
Oh, and the year the Blues won the Stanley Cup? 18 friggin losses against the bottom 10 worst teams in the entire NHL. The crazy thing was half of those came during the stretch run when they were climbing the standings to make the playoffs after a terrible start to the season (sound familiar?).
Bottom line is that it happens and doesn't define a team. Teams don't always have to win nearly all the 'easy' games while also winning the hard ones to be considered a good team (and in the case of the 2018-19 Blues -- the BEST TEAM IN THE ENTIRE NHL).
Yeah when you actually go back and watch how guys literally grabbed hold of players and didn't let go, you'd realize how insane it was that Bure and others were able to dance around the ice like they did.
Picture McDavid in the offensive zone and Myers could literally grab his jersey and pull him in and try bear hugging him to stop him lmao
But... but... this is a non-playoff team because they're likely gonna miss the playoffs this year!! Doesn't matter that they've been playing like a top 10 team the past 4 to 5 months. WE NEED CHANGE! TRADE MILLER (OUR TOP SCORER), TRADE MYERS (OUR TOP RHD), AND TRADE BOESER OR GARLAND (EITHER ONE OF OUR BEST TOP 6 WINGERS) !!!!!11!1!!!123!!@!!! WE NEED TO IMPROVES!!!1!!!!!!11111111!!
Ugh, yeah, reality is if Dallas and LA win tonight, and Canucks lose, we're basically out. The Canucks would have to win every game remaining and LA, Dallas, and Nashville would have to lose every game they have left.
I don't want any of our centres shipped out. How many teams can ice a lineup with THREE 30-goal scoring centres down the middle? That's extremely rare, and a huge competitive advantage over most teams in this league.
EDIT: Quick glance, but I don't think any other team in the entire league has three 30-goal scoring centres.
