  1. Good move for the Kings. Iafallo is a good hockey player.
  2. He had 33 points in 59 games last year. That's 46pts over 82 games. Shows what he's capable of. What can you tell me about Highmore?
  3. I'll have to admit, I don't know anything about Highmore.... but from what I can see, he doesn't look like anything to be excited about.
  4. Not sure how I feel about this... I feel Gaudette has lots to give .... This feels like a trade for the sake of making a trade... I have a feeling Gaudette is gonna take off playing on the Hawks...
  5. Dr Henry: "As you can see, today's new case number is 1262, which is down from yesterday's 1293. Therefore, we are trending down now. No new restrictions are required. Oh, and covid doesn't transmit within schools, so children are safe. Don't worry about it. Have a great weekend. I'll see you all next week some time." /s
  6. More than 4000 new cases in Ontario reported today! https://www.citynews1130.com/2021/04/09/ontario-reports-more-than-4000-new-covid-19-cases/ A much lower positivity rate than BC, and with nearly triple our population, they're actually doing better than BC. Meanwhile, we continue to carry on and hope that numbers will drop by themselves. Folks, we are definitely headed to astronomical numbers unless some major restrictions come into play in the next couple weeks.
  7. Nothing to see here... keep doing what you're doing, the numbers will go down by themselves. It's magic.
  8. I don't agree with this. Simply go take a look in that Thatcher Demko signing thread. This move is not terrible, but it's not great either. I would have much rather seen Pearson moved for a 2nd round pick at this juncture.
  9. Where does it say he has expansion draft protection? Edit: Nevermind, looks like there is no expansion draft protection. Which means he will be exposed for sure.
  10. What do you think it would take to pry Miller out of Buffalo? Would love to pair him up with Schmidt here.
  11. I prefer Royal Bank myself... but to each their own.
  12. If Aquilini was as dumb and annoying as many Canucks fans, he would celebrate this deal by firing GMJB.
  13. That's actually a really decent deal. Pretty long term and a good cap hit. If Demko keeps progressing the way he has, this will be a steal in a couple years (think Nathan Mackinnon type steal).
  14. Height is one thing, but 10-25lbs? That's a major difference. That is probably 5 to 15lbs of lean muscle mass difference which is very significant.
  15. Best way to teach our forwards defence would be to claim Ghost and put him out there with Hughes at the same time. The forwards will have to adapt quickly!
  16. Dunno about Wahlstrom, but Bellows turns 57 this year... but according to Stevens and Trottier, he's a superstar, so I dunno... Raymond, Ballard and a 1st for Bellows?
  17. If you're gonna make this argument, at least start out strong. Not sure where you got your info from, but Duncan Keith is 6'1" and close to 200lbs. He has always been at least 6'0" and close to 200lbs. That's a big difference from 5'9 or 5'10" and 175-185lbs. Most of the impact guys you have on that list are all over 6' and close to 200lbs or more. That's a different of 2 to 3" in height and 15 to 35lbs.
  18. The Habs are building a real powerhouse over there.
  19. Exactly... even with all those points, nobody is talking about him and the Norris. There's a reason for that, and if you take you Canuck homer glasses off, you'll see why. Heck, even just last night, big bad Nik Ehlers overpowered Hughes to drive the net...
  20. I don't think many of you realize what kind of defenceman Dahlin is. He will be a Norris winner without a doubt. He can play in all situations... Hughes is dynamic, but he's a one dimensional defenceman without size. If I'm going to war in the playoffs, I want Dahlin.
