    Instead of this, the NHL should normalize the cap so that taxation and Cost of Living is accounted for. Meaning each team has a cap specific to their geography to create enhanced parity in the league.

    OEL is bad at $8M at $2.25M though, he’s not a bad option for a bottom pair defenseman.

    Nils Aman has been far more effective. I'm not sure management knew what we had with Aman when we got Lazar. Aman kicks butt.

    Honestly, seems like it. Smooth skating, play driving defenseman, that’s okay in their own zone.

    Just got us a legit 1 RD that just turned 25 years old. Granted the trade now turns out to be Horvat and a 2nd for Beau, Raty, and Hronek (has some term and is an RFA) That's not bad.

    Roll the dice. Show me how we get a quality RD? We have plenty of forward talent. PLENTY. We have a great goalie. We need defense. Also we don't need another *ahem* Juolevi situation. Takes a price to get a known, young, commodity.

    So we get a young RD (a clear need) for what would have been a mid to late first, who we might have hoped to maybe turn into a quality player. These folks, legit top 4 D, don't grow on trees. Hronek is a known commodity. I can dig this. 25 or below.
