  1. Seems to me a mod should have sorted this out a long time ago no?
  2. Your right. MT was head and shoulders above OJ. Benning picking OJ was like Patrick White all over again........
  3. You don't think Matthews, Laing, PLD and JP were ranked ahead of MT? And that MT and OJ weren't in the same ballpark draftwise? Our best defenceman in our 45'ish year history is Lumme. Mother f'n Lumme. You think maybe we should draft a D? my point on McAvoy is that you have no idea who will be the best player from a draft 6 months after the draft.
  4. Please don't use Damien Cox as a reasoning to say OJ wasn't in the same class. He is an idiot. Matthews with Laine close behind JP PLD MT, OJ,Nylander, Sergachev all in the same ballpark for all anyone know Charlie McAvoy might end up being the best D man of the whole lot
  5. Lol, are you seriously using a video that has Damien Cox as the junior hockey "expert"? Keep reaching. What, Damien was on break from the Davis Cup?
  6. Maybe someone can make a thread titled "Tkatchuk, Nylander, Ehlers, Perron, Kopitar, Jagr and what could have been".
  7. They bring all their prospects in the summer for a camp where they go through meals and diet. Do you really think with a trainer on staff that they don't have individual plans for every player? Come on man.....
  8. All this talk about Ollie over Tkachuk. Vancouver has been in the league for 45 years and have never had a number one stud D man. Hence, no cups. Benning picked the D man who he thought could be that guy. Will he? Who knows. But donkeys on here "claiming" they don't see him as any better than a 4 or 5 D man 6 months after being drafted are out to lunch. They have no idea...... no one does..
  9. This is a silly post. Sadly all you will have to do to backtrack from this in 3-4 years is post a barely read "man was I wrong" post and all will be good.....
  10. He looks timid as &^@# in the NHL.
  11. But, but, it's not a rebuild. Management hasn't said it yet.... insert sarcasm emoji.
  12. Great undercard. Hope the rest is good.
  13. Hate to break it to you but it has sucked for most of their existence. We had a good 5-10 years or so of a good run but other than that its been bleak.
  14. Hopefully he worked real hard. It's his job to do so. I just think that people think because a player worked hard in the offseason that it will result in instant improvement on the ice. News flash, most NHL pros work hard in the offseason. i hope he is bigger, stronger and faster because he has real potential to be better than Bert.
  15. Every off season we hear and read stories of players who say they have had the best off season of their career and it literally means nothing. Its good he is in shape for sure but lets not get to far ahead of ourselves. Remember when Kassian had the best off season of his career?
  16. Botch, Pratt, Damo, Simmons and Sekeres TMZ Kardashians and Jenners Trump Calgary Winters Trying to come up with new songs for the beer league dressing room playlist shooting a 83 regular but 97 when playing with family
  17. I think because he plays for London this isn't as big a concern. I see him going back. Our D is full this year. No need to rush him..
  18. What I would like to know is where is he buying his Jersey Shore shirts he wears? If Bieksa was still on this team he would shame those right off him....
  19. What will Desiboy do when he realizes he is wrong again.
  20. To each there own. I prefer to have a little less WWE in my promotion.
