Benning picked the D man who he thought could be that guy. Will he? Who knows. But donkeys on here "claiming" they don't see him as any better than a 4 or 5 D man 6 months after being drafted are out to lunch. They have no idea...... no one does..

News flash, most NHL pros work hard in the offseason. i hope he is bigger, stronger and faster because he has real potential to be better than Bert.

Every off season we hear and read stories of players who say they have had the best off season of their career and it literally means nothing. Its good he is in shape for sure but lets not get to far ahead of ourselves. Remember when Kassian had the best off season of his career?

I think because he plays for London this isn't as big a concern. I see him going back. Our D is full this year. No need to rush him..

Lots of guys 5-10 years ago would have caused this stir if they "retired" like this. Not saying he isn't a decent fighter but I'll take the GSP, Hughes, BJ Penn, Liddel, Couture era over this guy any day. If this is the end I will put him in the Sonnen, Hardy category.
