  1. Vancouver was beat city in the world was what I was replying to for context. Obviously Tryamkin thought otherwise as well Back on topic: Hopefully he does come back though might see Green not benching people that score and probably a lot more shared ice time might also appeal to him. I'd rather a guy that wants to be on the ice playing rather than someone who gets a contract and just wants his money.
  2. The 1 million dollar homes were nothing special, again many other locations I'd prefer for that kind of money. Foreign investors in Asia, which are now paying big taxes, caused large price inflation as they tried to shelter income etc Sure enough 32% drop in sales. Lots of predictions of up to 21% drop in value. I never called Van expensive I said home prices were over inflated and weather sucks. In response to Robb Also liveable.... wages and cost of living due to over inflated home prices is insane. Montreal keeps getting voted one of the most beautiful places to live, which was my original point of I'd pick elsewhere to live. Calgary is one of the most liveable cities as well.... Let that sink in. Plus it's only 140 major cities evaluated for that award. Smaller more beautiful areas aren't evaluated I lived in Nelson for 18 years, I'd say best places in BC are Okanogan area hands down. Again I replied to someone calling Vancouver the best city in the world, which your argument even solidifies as true. Not sure why you want to completely change the context of what I said to suit yiu accusing me of some false statement.
  3. When you have 5 hippies yelling random nonsense, it's hard to not reply. Waiting for my tolda'm so in a month :D
  4. How so, it's a Rodin thread and I expressed how I'm disappointed he was cut for a player that was not as good besides a few lucky breaks. I've never been on the JV bandwagon, always said he needed to be in Utica and still does. Just because there's a bunch of people that have never played hockey commenting on how he's going to score 54 goals this year and I'm disagreeing saying look at the bigger picture and surrounding circumstances such as wingers and quality of players on other team, doesn't mean I'm polluting anything. I also disagree with them calling for Sedins to retire
  5. Doubt you started with many then. We shall see when season starts
  6. When we pass on a player that was creating bread and butter scoring chances to keep someone that was barely noticeable besides the snipe against Calgary. It's pretty concerning, if you look at the goals he got I have a feeling it's a repeat of last year when regular season starts
  7. You haven't traveled the world it sounds like, Van is far from nicest, unless you're emo and love rain, severe traffic massively over inflated house prices. There's so many beautiful ocean front towns in Europe
  8. Archie better get signed for some 4th line action, he's been great at causing turn overs.
  9. No it's the whole omg JV is amazing nonsense while calling for Burmistrov to be cut etc. Sorry but he's useless without everyone else doing the work. JV has done jack squat besides accept gift passes from better players and not learn how to line change...against random players from multiple leagues in preseason, he struggled in the AHL doubt that has changed. I'd love to be wrong but he's still not ready for NHL from his play.
  10. JV hasn't done that in past few games. He hasn't done much at all
  11. Jake hasn't made other players around him better, Gagner was reason for Calgary goal, Burmistrov gave him a gift goal. Haven't seen him create plays out of nothing, it's been him scoring on backs of other players hard work. Not to mention he was %100 of the reason Calgary scored taking one really really stupid penalty, who goes for a change and then goes back in the play when reaching the bench?? Archie has earned it, generated chances from his forecheck etc.
  12. Vs AHL players So he should go to Utica and keep confidence up
  13. Why would they cut him to keep JV who really hasn't done anything except score goals Dorsett could do thanks to amazing passes by other players. That Burmistrov feed should have been focus Regular season he's going to probably end up like poor Gaunce.
  14. So with that comment I'm going to say you're looking at him with favorable eyes. He skated to the bench, flipped his stick over so the blade was skyward, Dorsett jumped on and then JV flipped his stick over and went back in the play. %100 his fault Goal was pretty weak, it went 5 hole from top of circle clear line of sight for Smith.
  15. Rodin had assist and was flying around grabbing pucks, forechecking hard etc. JV got a weaksauce goal and got a really really stupid penalty leading to goal. I would keep Rodin as his game translated into generating offensive chances vs JV didn't really do much after goal. He should start in Utica and prove he can keep it up.
  16. He doesn't embody either of those.... Kids a damn ghost when he hits now
  17. Vilardi passed over wth, a few teams. Pettersson at least has an upside of add weight to that stringbean and he's probably a dominant player, adding weight is a lot easier than adding skill ask Virtanen

  19. You lack sarcasm detector. Have you also gone in the wrong bar before by chance?
  20. omg Boeser..shoot That E sounding O in his name maybe has him afraid of the biscuit? I thought his name was BO-zer
  21. This kid plays like Virt should
  22. I remember driving from Nelson to GF for games, my god did that suck. Oh and F Trail and their super nice arena, so so jelly when I was a young warthog.
