  1. Saw the same things as well. Hopefully as gets stronger and heavier, he won't be pushed around as easily.
  2. From the dev camp video, he took down Boeser with relative ease. Boeser isn't a small guy either.
  3. Goldobin mistakenly tagged Candella as Cole Cassels.
  4. Cole Cassels is also another recent Memorial Cup winner
  5. At least we know he's eating healthy:
  6. What do you guys think of taking Pierre-Olivier Joseph at 33? He put up decent numbers playing D and is supposedly very mobile and strong defensively. Just needs to add on a bit of weight, like most 18 year olds. http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=284911 http://lastwordonsports.com/2017/05/14/pierre-olivier-joseph-scouting-report-2017-nhl-draft-46/ That scouting report makes it sound like he would be a steal at 33.
  7. I'm just hoping guys don't target him for being the pro NHLer. I had some friends who played roller on the island with Jamie Benn (before he became a star) and they said guys kept trying to run him or fight him. Benn had to quite the league after a couple games.
  8. Virtanen can potentially represent Canada at the 2017 World Games for roller hockey. http://www.canadainline.com/2017-world-games-poland-short-list Also he's playing in the roller league in Langley. Has put 11 points in 2 games as a d-man: http://www.langleyhockeyhouse.com/stats#/player/141415
  9. I heard on the radio and saw some mentions on Twitter that Sutter called out Goldobin in the media. Anybody have a quote?
  10. Ah yes, but we got the moral victory in those games.
  11. Yeah he definitely looks offside from that angle.
  12. Looks offside...but you can't see for sure.
  13. Damn, nice effort by Brock and great save by Oettinger.
  14. Holy crap, BU is stacked: Keller, Greenway, Mcavoy, Bellows and Fabbro.
  15. Mittelstadt please. His eliteprospects scouting report makes him sound like a hockey god: An electric offensive presence on the ice, Casey Mittelstadt brings the complete package of speed, skill, and hockey sense. He competes hard with every shift, and has the dynamic puck skills to keep up with his creativity, which is a hallmark of his game. His awareness is all-encompassing, and he never puts his teammates in positions where their time and space will be bottlenecked. Bigger players don't phase him, as he thinks the game analytically and will find chinks in the opposition's armor on the fly. As a result, Mittelstadt is often seen forcing more complicated plays that the opposition won't be able to read in time. On top of all this, he can play a north-south game, and his transition game is already at an elite level. He's a complete player with the predatory instincts necessary to succeed as a consistent and, perhaps, dominant point producer at the next level. 16. I wasn't there at that golf tournament but had a buddy who was. Heard some stories about Jake and the "fun" he had. I also heard some interesting stories about other NHLers there too.
  17. Gaunce scored a beauty goal with Utica today:
  18. In person, he's great. I noticed him a lot too when I saw him in person. He does so many little things well. However, we paid him 6 million to score goals and be an offensive factor.
  19. I was at the game when Tram did this. It got the crowd pretty hyped.
  20. I agree with you. I've been to numerous Canucks practices at UBC and Biega is always the last person on the ice after practice, working on drills by himself. He has a strong work ethic and I think that will carry him to a solid NHL career.
