  1. He probably would've had a career year if not for his season ending injury. I predict he'll have a great season if he's playing with EP and Kuzmenko. He'll easily put up 25+ goals and around 50 points. He's probably even quicker now if his rehab has gone smoothly.
  2. Silovs wins the backup gig and ends up playing 20+ games
  3. He could be a very good player if he puts it all together.
  4. Tough position to be for Rathbone. Injuries aside, he needs to have a great camp to get a shot on the third pairing or as the 7th defenceman. Hopefully Myers will be better in a smaller role. Hughes-Cole Soucy-Hronek Wolanin-Myers Rathbone
  5. Verhaeghe-McDavid-MacKinnon Marchand-Crosby-Marner Tavares-Point-Stamkos Benn-Scheifele-Hyman Kyrou Toews-Makar Morrissey-Pietrangelo Dunn-Hamilton Montour, Burns Jarry Kuemper Fleury
  6. "Desjardins’ all-stick-no-carrot approach seemed to open up the door for his veterans to chime in, with Brandon Sutter notably calling out Goldobin for his play away from the puck. “You have to have the want to get the puck to go into the corners and the hard areas,” said Sutter. “To do that, you have to have grit and balls and he has to find that.”" https://www.vancouverisawesome.com/courier-archive/news/brandon-sutters-balls-and-a-culture-of-negativity-3049700
  7. Didn't Sutter tell Goldobin or one of the Canucks rookies at the time to grow some balls though?
  8. Same as other years, seems like a lot of "new" additions that won't really be much. Bench hitting and glass breaking have been reintroduced and taken away from the game for years. Physics engine is always the same despite new changes, and it seems like the goalie desperado saves is going to be exploited. Hope I'm wrong
  9. Former 1st round pick, 21 years old, and likely would've made the NHL at some point. Way too soon... condolences to his family and friends.
  10. Our family lost our beloved Maltese two years ago (to this day) and we miss him dearly. I knew his time with us would be short since he had some health complications starting in 2020, and he was only 9 years old, but you can never prepare yourself for it. I remember getting the call at 2:05am from my mom saying he unexpectedly passed away. I quickly rushed to the vet hospital to say my goodbyes which was very difficult. My mom is still devastated by the loss. Dogs / pets are special.
  11. If the league can do its job right and hand out proper discipline for cheap shots then there will be no need for retribution. Sad to say the NHL will only get softer and softer from here...
  12. Hughes - Cole Soucy-Hronek Wolanin-Myers Irwin Let Hirose and Rathbone get some big minutes in the AHL. Injuries will happen and they’ll get their shot.
  13. You mean when Nonis traded a cupboard of draft picks for Sanderson, Ruchinsky, Weinrich, and Noronen? Lmao.
  14. Was a good player for us but too bad injuries got the best of him. All the best to Sven.
  15. Taranseko took term over money though. The other teams were only willing to offer him one year contracts.
  16. Probably 6th or 7th. Colorado Edmonton Dallas Minnesota Vegas Canucks Kraken Kings
  17. When.. Cody Hodgson = Jonathan Toews Jordan Schroeder = Patrick Kane
