  1. Gritty win! Way to go Milos! 7-5 6-4 Tale of the match was the break points.. Milos was 2/2 and Fish was 0/8
  2. found a pretty terrible stream of it.. http://atdhenet.tv/34437/watch-atp-masters-indian-wells Better than nothing I guess. Really wish SN1 picked it up live like thought.
  3. Are you sure they'll be showing it live tonight?? They've been showing delayed all afternoon.
  4. Gonna be some massive serves hammered out tomorrow between those two.
  5. http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/warnings/SWS_bulletins_e.html?prov=bc Special weather statement in regards to widespread snowfall on the south coast Thursday.
  6. Of course it's sticking! Have you seen the temperature? Jealous of you islanders!
  7. Usually shoot between 100-110 on full length courses. 72ish on par 3 courses. I've been at this level for about the last 4 years. I never hit my woods because I'm terrible with them so my 3 iron is 'my driver'. Love the sport though.
  8. Less than 11 hours later and there's no snow in that trend. TWN should be dismantled.
  9. Can't believe this thread hasn't been bumped.. it's completely white here in white rock and there's snow covering the ground too.
  10. I was on it today, it's pretty fun. There were a few groups of people skating and playing hockey.
  11. That's why you don't rely on the weather network. They're so bad and unreliable and always change their forecasts because they're just not accurate. Go to Environment Canada's page: http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/city/pages/bc-74_metric_e.html Memorize it, bookmark it, do what you gotta do. Looks pretty white in that forecast.
  12. There's usually about one stretch per winter where you can skate on the ponds for a couple days. I go to the Serpentine Fen it's on King George Highway at about 44th in South Surrey. A couple of years ago a private company had mini rinks set up with nets and skate rentals and everything, it was pretty awesome.
  13. About time. On a side note, anyone know if the local ponds are suitable for skating on yet? It's been about 5 days below freezing in a row, would be nice to get some shinny in before the snow.
  14. Lo and behold, the new 14 day trend shows 5 days over 10 degrees and raining haha the weathernetwork is a joke. http://www.theweathernetwork.com/fourteenday/cabc0308 However, Environment Canada actually does show it becoming quite cool this week. http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/city/pages/bc-74_metric_e.html
  15. As much as I like snow and want that outlook to be true. Watch tomorrow morning it be altered to include warmer weather and rain. The accuracy of forecasts over 3 days in advance drop off significantly.
  16. Yah then I would have been Usain Bolt pretty much, but only getting further and further from home.
  17. The last 2km of my run yesterday sucked. It was gusting at around 80km/h head on so it felt like I was going nowhere and doing the running man dance move instead.
  18. The wind has really picked up in the last half hour.. it feels like my house is going to break from these gusts.
  19. I don't think many of us are whining. Last year we had pretty much a 'real winter' and alot of people learned their lesson and went out and got snowtires. I for one look forward to snow.
  20. Looks like we could be seeing some sleet at higher elevations on Saturday. With a low of 0 and high of 5 at the airport. http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/city/pages/bc-74_metric_e.html
  21. Settle down, I was just joking which was fairly clearly denoted by the . As for who exactly I am.. Who is anyone? This is an internet forum. I'm not e-famous enough for people to know me I guess. I apologize if I upset you, it wasn't my intention at all BH. I just made those numbers up anyways. From what I've seen you've made some really fine contributions to the photography thread which I stop in at every once in awhile. We're not even off-topic here as my post was responded to with the loudest thunder since the days of Zeus!
  22. ^^ 80% of your posts are about what you did/what the weather is like in Seoul today (which no one responds to) 15% of your posts are some immature joke with sexual connotations Let's try and expand that final 5%.. how do you feel about Sbisa being sent back to Lethbridge?
  23. http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/radar/index_e.html?id=WUJ This part of environment canada's site is pretty handing on predicting when it's gonna rain in your part of town.. looks like round 2 is on it's way as it's raining again in Victoria.
  24. Generally people like what they don't have as often. For us in Vancouver, it rains 200 days a year so lots of people are sick of it, while it snows maybe 10 days a year except for last year. In Riga, it might snow more often I'm not sure. I'm not a rain hater though I find it comforting. My family just got a metal roof this spring and it magnifies the sounds of the individual rain drops.
