  1. Much appreciated for this clarification. I don't understand why some teams choose to take on LTIR (as in Tampa), and why our LTIR is useless.
  2. There are some ppl who think Sutter shouldn't have returned, but they are very much in the minority. I don't expect squamfan, for example, to be a fan of anything of this team because of his constant negativity. I have never seen him praise the cheap contracts.
  3. How does the LTIR for Ferland work? Before the season, we would be accounting for his cap, but then during the season, would we still have the 3.5 mill to use as bankable space, at least temporarily?
  4. Seems like it is almost the exact line of questioning as the other interview that was done in English.
  5. Yeah, the stats don't show a vastly superior player, especially against OEL. I think our points are: if he is OEL is overpaid, what does this make Hamilton? I can see this looking very ugly for Jersey.
  6. The stats certainly suggest what you said. I think he's actually not a one dimensional player from the little I've seen and read about him because he's known for backchecking. He is an absolute hound for the pick, which bodes well for him. But yeah, I do have to admit his stats aren't overwhelmingly the best (if he had 5 more assists for example, it may be more convincing). Anyway, this guy may be good, but he needs seasoning, as you said.
  7. He was the one with the most goals for sure, but look at that defenseman, Dmitri Kuzmin. 1 goal, 4 assists. Also the goalie looks pretty good for a Belarus team. https://www.eliteprospects.com/team/1675/belarus-u18/2020-2021?tab=stats I'm intrigued by the player, but I want to re-iterate (and echoing other posters) that we should not rush this guy, as I said in previous posts.
  8. Because of stupid dumdums like AV. Admittedly, I and others engaged with him, so he got his jollies off. I'd hate to play for this team too because of the dumdums here. No wonder Sakic stayed the F out of here. Just wondering, did someone on CDC creep out Schmidt? He was like NOPE, not staying here another day.
  9. Yes, you're right. Poolman has played more than enough games to be waiver eligible. Yet the one way status means he'll be paid the same amount regardless if he's in the AHL or not. Anyway, Poolman is gonna do just fine on the Canucks. I can't wait for the season to start! Even seeing training camp would be nice!
  10. He's not going to stumble in camp - Poolman is a fairly seasoned NHLer. Also, Poolman is on a one-way contract (as he should), and therefore, sending him down to the minors requires waivers, which means he could get claimed. Also, you save no money, assuming that he makes it there because of the one-way status. I agree about Juolevi being a useful player (and cheap) for the Canucks. He has a lot of potential and I hope he lives up to it. It's unfortunate that injuries have hampered his career so much.
  11. The criminal charges aren't gonna happen, in all likelihood. There's a reason why she's going civil.
  12. I think these claims should be investigated as well, but for the sake of ensuring integrity of this original case.
  13. Owning up to your BS. Not surprised you didn't address this at all. This is one of many examples we can dig up where you just flat out lie.
  14. Demanding others to take accountability while you show none. Classic.
  15. Who are you talking about? I didn't read about Virtanen's case with 6 women?
  16. The original context was Timrafa's false claim that Hamilton had more points than OEL (maybe this season) by a mile. Whether he meant this season or other seasons, he's wrong. 20 points isn't really a mile. It's better, granted, but Hamilton played on a superior team. Based on that fallacious data, he then proceeded to argue that 2 mill difference was cheap for Hamilton's calibre.
  17. I said that in jest, just throw in other problematic players
  18. He (timrafan) said Hamilton produced more points by a mile.
  19. I didn't realize you don't know how to count. Let me get a crayon for you. Dougie Hamilton So OEL has 388 vs Hamilton's 341. You're saying Hamilton is worth more? Don't quit your day job.
  20. Tkachuk takes out Juolevi's legs, Juolevi takes revenge.mp4
  21. The toxic media is gonna say "Pettersson & Canucks far apart in contract talks"

@bigbadcanucks Yeah... Todd Diamond also looks untrustworthy. Just that look - it's unmistakable. I didn't think Tryamkin was coming back because I wasn't convinced with Diamond's words.

@Dazzle - I hate phukker$ like Diamond.  It's too bad that Dhaliwal fell for Diamond's BS chatter about Tryamkin.  That hurt Dhaliwal's credibility, which is too bad because IMO, he is one of the most connected and trusted media types with the Agent fraternity.

Dhaliwal re-established his credibility (at least with me) with being in the know with UFA signings Jim Benning had lined up.  He was on the ball about the volume of moves that were to come on Day 1...I'm sure he could have pulled a Seravalli and spilled all the beans, but he held off and let the day unfold while giving us clues as to what was to happen.

He was also the first to bang the drum on the Connor Garland move, a move that I thought was a possibility for the Canucks at some point starting from as far back as when it was reported that ARZ had not even spoken to him about an extension.

Barry used to be known at one point for feeding rumors and such. Upfront conversations like the one posted are great. Also thanks for that. Not sure where I got 10m in my head.  Honestly though I wasn't hating on Barry more though than admiring his ability to pull off things for clients. Being a piece of $&!# is kinda part and parcel of being an agent :)

  22. Technically a poolman has to be a depth guy otherwise he won't be filling the pool correctly.
  23. You're trading 'brand name' for depth. Realistically, all the Canucks needed were players who could tidy up the defensive zone. That's it. Hughes/OEL can do their own thing.
  24. I won't give you that kind of pleasure. Hope this helps. Makes you wonder.
  25. I placed myself as "others", as in "others find you annoying". And given the negative reactions to your posts, it is 100 percent warranted. I'm SURE there are others who don't find you annoying, good on them. Don't be disingenous.
