  1. Some people refuse to believe this, but Benning's predecessor played a factor into how slow this process was. Most other teams had some kind of transition period.
  2. This begs the question - why would a team offer a 2nd rounder or higher if Motte can be replaced by a lot of players. Logic is hard, I know. Hope this helps.
  3. I like the players, honestly. But I have to question the direction of this team at this point, if they are not making changes. Are they expecting Stanley Cup results from these existing players?
  4. So using your logic, wouldn't this mean that Motte wouldn't be as valuable as you are claiming? Why would anyone want to pay for a player that can be replaced by "a lot of players"?
  5. Here's another bad one. The hockey stick is truly a multifaceted tool.
  6. That's hilarious. One of Alain's buds from his fantasy hockey group comes out to white knight his damsel in distress. Pathetic.
  7. Yeah, I feel similar to you, except I agreed on his points about Green. Yet tonight, Green did nothing wrong, but Canucks2288 still complains. The team stuck with their gameplan and there wasn't any head scratching moves. Virtanen was playing regular shifts and not taken off. Nothing was tampered. Green couldn't be blamed for tonight's loss.
  8. It's amazing how Myers/Schmidt has played. It's a night and day difference. None of the hiccups they've made earlier in the season. Hughes had one that was just unfortunate, but a hint of what things used to be... hopefully....
  9. Come on man. This post is as bad as the ppl wanting to fire Benning for the sake of firing Benning. Green's fine this game. No issues with him.
  10. I've agreed with you on Green, but tonight he doesn't deserve any blame this game. Maybe call a timeout when we were tires, but we've done a lot of good things so far.
  11. Game management at play here. Two missed calls against Canucks. Then one call against the Canucks was called.
  12. Opiods don't really do what you're implying though, haha.
  13. This is absurd, even coming from you Apollo lol.
  14. Source: I want to re-iterate, not my picture. The format/arrangement is pretty weird. Minnesota did a really good job drafting, along with Montreal, and the Ducks. Vancouver did a very good job too (with the limited picks it had).
  15. Rushing prospects when they're clearly not ready is how you waste their potential. They learn bad habits, lose confidence, and don't play the 'right way'. None of these AHL calibre players should be in the NHL so soon. Let them brew and everything will pay off. It wasn't Benning's fault that Gillis left next to nothing in the system. There wasn't anyone dominating the AHL who was ready for the Canucks.
  16. I'm being facetious here, but if only Jett WOO could become one too. It's unlikely though...
  17. They've also gone through a bunch of GMs too.
  18. If we win the next game, according to Moneypuck, http://moneypuck.com/predictions.htm , we go up to 19 percent.
