This is probably the first time I've actually agreed with something you said.
Yeah, I don't know why people think that is a 'hockey play'. I'm not saying it was dirty, nor do I think that Kotkaniemi meant to injure him, but it was a senseless hook that ended up in an injury. Why did Kotka think that the hook was necessary for him well away from the play? Yes there are sometimes scrums and a light hook/slash is okay here and there. The way that he got "tangled" was beyond light and that is my complaint about it. It was completely unnecessary, much like Matheson's play.
