  1. podkolzin leads team in hits against NYR (6), scores a comeback goal, has another chance where he out skates the NYR defense but the puck rolls off his stick, and has three shots, getting only 7 minutes of TOI. Chiasson doing absolutely nothing on the PP. Absolutely #freePods.

i strongly disagree. i think he should be rewarded for his play and IMO Green isn't rewarding him congruently with how he's been playing. If Motte comes back, I'd re-waive Petan, and scratch Chiasson, giving Pods his PP time and put Pods on a decent line playing a total of 12-14 mins a night.

      Miller - Petey - Boeser

      Pearson - Horvat - Garland

      Hogs - Dickie - Podz

      Motte - Lammikko - Bailey

      Two things.

      1. Schenn also had 6 hits.
      2. Totally agree on Podkolzin. He gains nothing from going down to Abbotsford, and neither does the team. Your idea of his deployment is right on the money. Waive and healthy scratch the plugs, and give the promising rookie the chance to shine.

Schenn might be a little slow on the back skate but he plays within his abilities.  Unlike Myers who continues to give the puck away in his own zone, especially when killing penalties.  Also, Schenn will go to bat for any of his teammates.  Keep him in the line up.
