  1. Boeser is not getting traded for a draft pick, let alone as but one piece for one.
  2. Yes, but there should be definite interest. Connor isn't NHL ready yet (physically, in particular) but has big-time skills.
  3. Kid has good hands, too. Check out some of his shootout goals from junior.
  4. If Wpg offered up Kyle Connor we'd certainly have to take a serious look at that.
  5. What we should hopefully see after the TDL, especially with the teams above us continuing to create separation, is to bring up McEneny and see what we have. If he looks like an NHLer then yes, that could well open up the option of moving Hutton or better yet Edler for forward help. If it's Hutton, we definitely need to get a like player in return -- young, waivers ineligible and ED protected, with a lot of unknown upside still.
  6. Seemed a bit similar to this year -- had a slow start as he was injured but then started putting up points consistently, like he is now. Finished with 25 in 36 games (only one goal) and +17. Has an assist already tonight, for 12 points in his last 14 games. Only had 2 points in his first 26.
  7. You sure about that? Maybe you missed the waiver-wire Pokemon threads.
  8. I've suggested before that we should have a "Prospect Hate/Regret" thread, so that all the Ehlers, Nylander, Konecny, and Tkachuk envyers can remorse and wring hands, sobbing together while holding each other ever so tenderly in private. The pollution in these threads makes them near-unbearable.
  9. 20 goals and 35 points is pretty decent for his first full NHL season, considering we'll likely only have 2 others to reach that many goals. Mikael is now in his fourth NHL season and people in Minny up until this year were still unsure what they had in him. His PPG actually dropped from .65 to .53 over those first three. Markus is at .43 now and in a half season with Calgary was .38. In their year in the AHL Mikael had .96 and Markus .88. As valuable as he is, don't think there's any way we protect a 31-year-old over two young and still establishing and improving 24-year-olds.
  10. Hopefully that's Juolevi to Gaudette in two seasons.
  11. Actually it's been that way since the moment he was drafted, which is why others have said it's annoying coming here to find real info on Jake but instead be deluged by all the incessant and repetitive whinging.
  12. 9 points in his last 9 games.
  13. Would think if you'd paid attention the past couple weeks you'd be getting the message by now from a number of people here about your incessant and repetitive complaining about the same things over and over, but it evidently hasn't sunk in yet as you simply retreated into victim mentality. Speaking of stale, is 800 polluted pages not enough HateTheJake therapy, or is there simply no ability or desire to add anything new or constructive?
  14. Sorry to burst your big-headed ego bubble, but it likely takes a whole lot more than an embittered keyboard warrior spamming endlessly about Jake being a chump to upset him. In fact, he and his friends probably laugh at you and your lil cadre and come here for entertainment. "All he can do is skate"...
  15. Maybe this has something to do with it: No worries, unless DeNiro grabs a Snickers he's headed there as well. Maybe then you can have your Two Minutes Hate4Jake huddled together in private instead of spamming it on every single page here.
  16. So now even in toughness Nylander is better than Jake.
  17. Kid's a bust, haven't you been reading? Road the coattails of his teammates last year; dude's got a bum wrist and can't even skate. Idiot Benning strikes again. Coulda had Ehlers, er... Tkachuk, er... Konecny... yeah, that's the one.
  18. How many times do Green, Benning, Linden, Jake, et al have to say it? Points right now do not matter. The kid is a developing prospect, not a front-line NHL-ready player. Measure him by what he's learning, doing, and improving upon, NOT stat-sheet watching.
  19. This thread is loading up with sig-worthy material.
