I will be taking over the negotiations as the agent for players previously represented by Brunners. Add me to any current negotiations in order to proceed any further with them.

  11. Good grief... I wish I knew what you all were thinking... is 20th high enough to get the player I want? Too early for that other player? If I move down, am I moving down too far?
  12. Not sure what kind of list you have, that's your business.
  13. Okay guys, ridiculous non-hockey post alert.
  14. I think they Isles will impress next season. Their goaltending is shored up now, they have a lot of talent up front and some emerging stars on defence as well. Sure Halak isn't in the top tier of goalies, but he isn't being paid in the $6-$7 million range like Quick, Price or Lundqvist. He's had solid numbers and stabilizes their goaltending for the next few years, which is a luxury the Isles haven't had in a loooooong time. Look for them to add some pieces on defence in free agency. You'll notice they didn't defer the pick they owe to Buffalo to next years draft (which is really deep...) until after they had Halak signed (well, same day, but you have to think they knew it was pretty much done when they deferred the pick). The Islanders clearly think they're a playoff team with solid goaltending and a healthy Tavares. Heck, they were in the race this year without decent goaltending until Tavares went down at the Olympics. They're in a similar position to the Jets, except the Isles have made moves to improve their goaltending (sorry arby...) They've got some young talent and should be better than their standings show, but they give up too much in the way of shots and high quality chances. That's where a solid goaltender can really bail a team out. Pavelec hasn't cut it in Winnipeg, nor did Nabokov last year for the Isles, and both teams fell out of the race and missed the playoffs. Halak is an upgrade. They may or may not make the playoffs, but I believe the Isles will be better next year, and at least be in the race down the wire (assuming they stay healthy). Snow and the Isles take a lot of heat, but I'd like to see them succeed and prove everyone wrong.
  15. 24 days until the draft... blah! Hurry up!!!!
  16. Online on Trillian tonight and working on a few updates etc.
  17. Didn't say Prust didn't get Stepan's head, just that Moore made more contact with Weise's head. Prust got a lot more of Stepan's chest than Moore did of Weise. Both dirty hits though, and both deserved more than 2 games.
  18. Prust's hit was later, but Moore made more/direct contact with the head.
  19. Double edged sword for New Jersey. If LA wins tonight, series is over, 2 of his 3 players are out and Kopitar will have no more games in the 3rd round to close the gap. If Chicago wins, the series continues, but Florida at minimum would get the goalie points for Crawford. Out West, best case scenario for the Kings is to have LA-CHI end tonight and MTL-NYR to go to game 7, with Pacioretty and St. Louis trading goals back and forth for the next 2 games. Definitely a tall order to close a 31 point gap over 2 games with only 3 players on the ice and no goaltender. Florida is pretty much in the Finals already, and odds are he'll be up against Minny. If Chicago is out, it could be Toffoli vs Carter. The real swing would then be who comes out of the East in the NHL. If it's the Rangers, Florida gets John Moore in the Final (assuming he's not still suspended). If the Habs complete the comeback, the Wild get Andrei Markov in the lineup.
  20. A reminder to teams of the upcoming dates to remember found on page one. Also, a few notes regarding buyouts: - in order for a player to be bought out (regular buyout or compliance), they must clear unconditional waivers first. - teams can utilize regular buyouts at any time following the conclusion of the playoffs, but compliance buyouts will only be allowed inside the designated window. - teams can use a compliance buyout on a total of two players, including last summer. If your team has used a compliance buyout, they are listed on your team charts "Traded" page and shown with no cap hit and with "Amnesty" under the terms section.
  21. True, if it were one player on one side against 8 regulars, including most of one teams top 6 and their starting goalie, it's not really a contest, no matter which NHL team wins the Stanley Cup.
  22. The way Toffoli's playing, he might be all you need anyways.
  23. TRADE: The Montreal Canadiens have made a trade with the New York Islanders. To MTL: Calle Jarnkrok NYI 2014 1st Round Draft Selection (13th overall) To NYI: MTL 2014 1st Round Draft Selection (8th overall)
  24. I'd be shocked if he wasn't in the top 4...
