  1. Season ticket holders, which 2 member benefits did you receive? I got an invite to an exclusive event, and complimentary club 500 tickets to a concert at Rogers Arena.

    1. PlayStation

      PlayStation

The one where I can change the channel when I start to fall asleep or cry at the score.

    2. Grapefruits

      Grapefruits

Club 500 looks awesome, but damn, that's high up for a concert!

  2. Is the point scoring the same on espn? On yahoo my teams projected points is 102 whereas on espn the same starting lineup is projected 96 points. Not that projections mean much, but I wonder if espn just values players a lot less. I find it hard to believe Randall Cobb is only projected to get 3 points, despite playing against Seattle he should easily have at least 5 to 6 points. Edit: on yahoo Cobb is projected to get 9.6 points, on espn only 3.
  3. I run my fantasy hockey league on espn so I have no problem migrating to espn this season of waiting until next, either or works for me. I'm on my phone so I'll shoot you my email when I'm on my laptop later. Count me in for keeper.
  4. These draft grade things suck, which is expected as they're auto generated. For example, in my league with my friends, we have 2 new comers who don't even watch NFL (want to get into it this year) so thus they drafted based on last years stats and best player available. They both got A grades and are expected to go 13-1. -.- Ps: Lol @ Russian Rocket expected to go 1-14
  5. If anyone would like Demarco Murray, I'll be willing to give him up for another RB or a good WR. Great RB, just don't want 2 Cowboys lol
  6. Oh, I'd definitely be down for that. I assume everyone would keep their first 2 picks .
  7. Have the 6th pick in our draft, cool, I'm happy with that. I hope I can draft a team similar to the one I have with my friends so I can cheer for the same players every week.
  8. Would the keeper pick be our 1st rounder?
  9. I think you could get cordarelle Patterson much later. Where you're thinking of picking him (32nd overall) is where guys in the range of Welker, Crabtree, VJax.. Etc go who, in my opinion, would be much better picks with a 2nd rounder
  10. Because it's easier to grab a QB who will score roughly the same amount of points as other Qb's whereas there are only so many elite receivers or running backs who are guaranteed to give you production on a weekly basis. Wilson could have been available in the later rounds and at 9th overall he could've taken a Julio Jones or Jordy Nelson, because those quality of receivers aren't available in rounds 4 5 6 whereas guys like Luck and Dalton who score tons of fantasy points were available then. That's why I called it a Homer pick, because he picked with his heart instead of strategically. As for bears defense, I waited until my 2nd last pick to pick a defense and my last pick to pick a kicker because I value them the least amount. Most defenses on average get you about 7 points a week so I didn't concern myself too much with it.
  11. Brady was taken in the 4th round of a 14 team league, Russell was taken 9th overall. Those who can't read, right? Luck, Dalton and Stafford all scored more than Russell Wilson last year, should they have gone top 5? I really hope you're in our draft tonight, it should bring some laughter.
  12. I picked my Defense with the second last pick and my kicker with the last pick lol. Wasn't much to choose from. My draft strategy with my friends was go WR WR WR QB because many of them right off the bat took a QB in the 1st or 2nd round which left some good receivers on the board for me. Also, I love the homers. Russell Wilson went in the 1st round
  13. Didn't prioritize them this year, didn't pick my first RB till round 6
  14. QB: Tom Brady WR: Dez Bryant WR: Julio Jones WR: Randall Cobb RB: Joique Bell RB: Ben Tate TE: Zach Ertz Flex: Julian Edelman Flex: DeAngelo Williams K: Matt Bryant D/ST: Chicago Bench: Anquan Boldin Bench: Danny Woodhead Bench: Tyler Eifert Bench: Steve Smith Bench: Markus Wheaton
  15. I'll be live drafting tomorrow. Doing my league draft with my buddies in 3 minutes, and I got the last pick in a 14 team league ..
  16. Throw a guy under the bus? BB had nothing but praise and well wishes for Mankins. Mankins gave up 12 sacks last season and is on the decline while still having a large salary cap hit. The Pats will be fine. They've been playing a lot of rookies and non starters this pre season such as Devey to get them ready. Solder Cannon Connoly Stork Vollmer is a fine starting 5 offensive linemen with a couple other guys waiting in the wings incase one of Cannon or Stork under performs.
  17. Shocked at Mankins being traded. He was one of Kraft's "inner circle" guys along with Brady, Wilfork and Mayo. But I can see why it makes sense from a financial standpoint. Frees up money to re-sign Revis is what I think of immediately. Surprise Surprise, Wright is a Rutgers kid
  18. To :D (colon dee) , everyone gets fired up for sporting events in different ways. Many NHL and NFL players blast music or listen in their headphones during warm ups and in the locker room to get pumped up. Are you saying it's not important to them because "just playing the game" isn't enough to pump them up?

  19. Got an important, elimination playoff game tonight for a chance to go to the division finals. Anyone got suggestions for pump up videos to watch right before? I know Eberle scoring in WJ's gets me pumped up to hit the ice, but anything else?

      :D

Couldn't be that important of a game if you can't get pumped up for it without help.

  20. You mean that great offensive line that is missing Alex Boone and incapable of giving CK time to throw?
  21. I agree If I were St. Louis, I'd try to get Mike Glennon or Michael Vick. If it's a "write off" year without Bradford, might as well bring someone in to give the fans some excitement. His worth is dependent on the desperation of a team. A desperate team who has no faith in their back up to play 16 games will give a 3rd or 4th for Mallet, whereas a team who is thinking a couple years down the road in terms of getting a guy developed and get him familiar with the playbook would give a 6th or 7th. In saying that, I agree that to St. Louis, Mallet would only be worth a 7th
  22. Should probably just pick 1 time and stick to it seeing how the draft is in 4 days.
  23. I agree on both points. For some of us, there are different stories (take me for example, east coast American born living in Vancouver, dual citizen) but for the majority, it is definitely about winning and proximity. A pet peeve of mine is guys who will cheer for multiple teams. I don't mean just the general, "Oh, I hope this team wins their game this Sunday," but genuinely be a fan of like 3 or 4 teams. I know a guy who says he is a Broncos, Ravens, Seahawks and Packers fan. He has jerseys of players from all 4 team. Just makes no sense to me, I've always been a loyal to my one team kind of guy. But hey, who am I to tell him how to find joy in his life.
  24. Fine with either Thursday at 9pm or Saturday.
