  1. When can STH's pick up their tickets from Rogers Arena? Very anxious as a first year STH lol

The Lions have a STH kick off event where you can pick up the tickets, or you can have them mailed out after the event. I'd think the Canucks do something similar.

  2. Not a big CFL follower, only watch Lions games when I'm at them, but still support them. Glad to see my buddy Casey Chin doing well though. Heard he had a few good tackles on kick offs yesterday.
  3. No one else that offered you advice was in the championship game last season
  4. Kickers and D/ST get you the most points. You'll probably wanna take a D/ST in the 1st round so you can snag the Seahawks defense. Next, with your 2nd round pick, you'll wanna snag Janikowski who is a Kicker. Also, don't draft any #1 receivers. They're always double covered. Go for guys down on depth charts as they won't be covered much. Good luck in our league!
  5. Because a guy who made 10 million dollars last year buys a car that cost less than half a million, he's going to go bankrupt? I disagree. As obnoxious and stuck up Marshawn has appeared over the last few months, I see him as a guy with a smart head on his shoulders who will be financially healthy.
  6. Works for me. Also wouldn't be against adding 1 more WR slot to that list.
  7. Revis is anything but a liability ..
  8. Count me in again. If I remember correctly, I lost in the championship game last year.. need redemption
  9. Curious, would everyone who was praying for us to tank for McDavid and write off the season still feel the same if it was their (or their family's) money and business that would be taking a huge financial hit? It's easy to stand on the sidelines with no financial risk and tell someone how to run their business and lose a lot of money

^ Why do you feel, even if we did tank, we'd be a shoe in for the top 2 pick? Even without Miller and Vrbata we would finish above the likes of Edmonton, Calgary, Buffalo, Islanders, heck maybe even Toronto. We could "tank" and end up with a pick outside the top 5. What an even more waste of time that would be.

^Without Miller and Vrbata hah ! ridiculous ! We are not finishing ahead of CAL and EDM with this line up.....and to those hoping to tank can step off the wagon for all i care.

^ yeah...because a top 6 of sedins burrows higgins bonino kassian is miles worse than whatever crap Calgary puts out and definitely worse than the fragile babies on Edmonton

  10. Don't understand why people on CDC think Vey isn't good enough to be on 2nd line. He won the WHL scoring race, and is PPG or above in the AHL..what more do you want? Get over it, we didn't get McKeown. Boo hoo..

I'll bet Benning would laugh his arse off if he read much of what is 'speculated' here.

Vey is going to be legit. He's produced points in the AHL that our prospects could only dream of. Kid's going to be a VERY good acquisition.

  11. So, I'm a Canucks season ticket holder now. Didn't wake up this morning expecting that to happen.

  12. Guess most of the guys didn't wanna go back to burger king or Rona and whatever else they do in the off season considering not everyone is like Ianuzzi who has a business degree. The players really got the short end of the stick.
  13. They are striking. Marco Iannuzzi @iannuzzimarco · 2h (1of4) After conversations with confidants within @MLB_PLAYERS @NFLPA as well as astute business figures in #Finance & #RealEstate I have... Marco Iannuzzi @iannuzzimarco · 2h (2of4) ...concluded that we the players of the @CFL have been taken advantage of during our #CBA negotiations... Marco Iannuzzi @iannuzzimarco · 2h (3of4) Now, after these #CollectiveBullyingNegotiations we have no choice but to strike for what is #fair... Marco Iannuzzi @iannuzzimarco · 2h 4of4) My apologies to all those who will be affected; stadium staff(s), other businesses reliant on gameday revenue & of course to you fans.
  14. Prince Lundqvist, cause the real King Henrik dawns the red and white in Detroit

The real King Henrik is the Canucks captain ;)

  15. Lol, well, maybe just a phone call for advice, not actually bring them over the border.
  16. Can't believe they haven't found him yet if he really was spotted 3 times this morning. Wonder if he's even in Moncton anymore? It's not like Moncton is a big city. Maybe call in Boston PD and FBI for some assistance considering how well and efficient they were with their manhunt?
  17. Andre Johnson wants to play with a great QB with a legitimate shot at the Super Bowl? Houston wants Ryan Mallett? Heyoooooo ..
  18. Not a fan of the Garoppolo pick. If it was set in stone that a QB was going to be taken, would have preferred AJ McCarron, I think he's got a higher ceiling, better mechanics, and Katherine Webb. Looked at tape of Garoppolo and scouting reports, seems to have a quick release and good technique, but bad decision maker and very anxious in the pocket. In 3-4 years when Tom is done, don't think it'll be Garoppolo replacing him. But then again, 199th overall pick wasn't supposed to replace Bledsoe and then win the starting job the next season either. Honestly, I felt that Bill could have traded up to grab Louis Nix in the 3rd round instead of draft out of the 3rd round and give the pick to Jacksonville.
  19. I disagree, I think Easley is a spectacular player. The trick will be keeping his knees in tact. He's got power to bust through the gap that can't really be coached, that's just the hunger and effort in him. Ray Lewis went off about how he watched Easley play live and singled him out as the sole reason why his alma mater Miami couldn't get stuff done on offense. If, IF, Easley can stay healthy, he, Jones, Wilfork and Ninkovich with Tommy Kelly subbing in will be a great front 4. I see a LB being taken on day 2 by the Pats in the second round. Jace Amaro unfortunately will be gone by the time we pick again.
  20. Bye bye Lynch Thomas at 40 mill over 4 years, Sherman should/probably will get more, and Wilson probably get more than both of them being the QB. Gonna be a lot of key guys being let go when those contracts are done next year.
  21. Can a 2003 Honda Civic automatic transmission or a 2004 Toyota Corolla automatic transmission make it to LA (from White Rock) through the mountainous passes?

You will be fine just dont load the car down. Safe journey dude :P

    3. Henrik Kesler

      Henrik Kesler

I'd be more worried about the anemic engine than the transmission

    4. Rough Neck

      Rough Neck

Why would anyone want to risk their 2003 Toyota for that. I mean, its not like Im the one who owns that.

  22. I wouldn't. Amaro is slightly bigger, equally as fast, and both played more flex tight end than on the line. Thus, them both being big, fast, catching tight ends, I would much rather add a dynamic pass rusher to compliment Chandler Jones and Ninkovich in addition to a receiving tight end, rather than just get the receiving tight end and no significant help on defense. Hoomanawanui and Gronk are both excellent blockers as well, so our tight end pick doesn't necessarily need to be a great blocker (neither Ebron or Amaro are)
  23. Personally, I would love to see a tight end taken with 1 of the first 2 picks, and a DE/OLB hybrid with the other of the first 2 picks. The Patriots need a play making tight end to take attention of tacklers off of Gronk. When Hernandez and Welker were here, defenses couldn't have 4-5 guys tackling Gronk every time he caught the ball cause they were stretched across the field by Hernandez and Welker. Not only did this decrease the chance of injury dramatically, but it allowed Gronk to manhandle guys. Last year, with no other legitimate threat besides Gronk when he returned, teams had 4-5-6 guys tackling him on every play. I know the play that injured him was just 1 guy diving at his knees (and had Gronk had taken off with his other foot at the line of scrimmage, his weight would have been on the leg that didn't get hit by TJ Ward and he wouldn't of gotten injured) but we need to distract defenders. 2 tight ends that I would love to see in a Pats uni are: 1. Jace Amaro, Texas Tech. 2. Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Washington. Too bad Eric Ebron will be gone way before the Pats get to their pick. 2 DE/OLB's I want the Pats to draft are: 1. Kony Ealy out of Missouri. Dude is a beast at disrupting a QB's pocket. 2. CJ Mosley out of Alabama. Bill loves Bama LB's, and just like Hightower did in his time, Mosley carried the Tide. Any 2 of those 4 with the first 2 picks and I'll be a happy, happy man.
  24. A friend of mine who has been 10+ years season ticket holder sent me a text last night that the divorce is related to his wife cheating on Russell with a player on the team or more than 1, and 1 front office executive. He sent me a 2nd text saying that an unnamed (at the time, maybe it's released now)front office guy resigned last night shortly after the team announced the divorce and that there's a year to mend fences between the players that were involved and Wilson or he's leaving town when he hits FA. All speculation, of course.
