  1. Waiting for Tony Romo's misspelled rant.
  2. Can't believe he kicked Shaub in the groin and it went uncalled
  3. To those who look solely at stats and only stats when making predictions, the Lions are showing today why I don't care much for stats except the W and L column. Stafford 0-2 on Thanksgiving, 2 touchdowns 9 interceptions, the Texans have the best 3rd down defense in the last 30 years, the Texans have a top 2 overall defence..etc..etc. Stafford is having a great game already and have a good chance at getting the W, the Texans can't seem to stop Detroit on 3rd down, Arian Foster isn't having as great a game as many would have predicted (only 36 yards, though he does have a td). As I'm typing this, Texans get a free touchdown even though the running back was CLEARLY down by contact, his elbow, forearm and knee were all down. That is bullsh*t
  4. Stafford 200+ yards and 2 touchdowns in the first half. Megatron 100+ yards and a touchdown in first half. Broyles 67 yards in first half. These numbers are what I expected after a full 60 minutes, but after just 30? My fantasy team is definitely getting a boost.
  5. Two false statements there. 1, we're not going to win for sure. Not only are we on the road, but we barely beat them in overtime earlier in the season thanks to their receiver dropping the ball with no defenders around him. Add in that Sanchez is coming off a game where he played average (which is Elite to him and Jets fans), he'll come in to tonights game with confidence. 2) Hernandez is playing tonight unless he snaps his ankle in the hotel or something. This coming from reports by Mike Reiss anyways.
  6. Feels weird to wake up on a Thursday morning to football, and an awesome match up at that, followed by another important game, followed by my Pats. No classes today, had two exams yesterday, and no work today = relax and football day. -Hope the Lions passing offense goes all out today with Jonathan Joseph out for the Texans and the Lions being at home. Starting Stafford, CJ, and Broyles , make or break time.
  7. Recently discovered 30 Rock, my god I am hooked. Starting season 3 now, Kenneth is gold! So is Cerie ;)

Man, dont get to into Kenneth though, his character is killed off season 4

  8. Sometimes I think it'd be a lot more fun to be a fan of a team who starts out average and then strings some wins here, a loss here and there and you don't know if they're going to make the playoffs until the final week, and it turns out they do. It would be a cool feeling to feel that relief of "yes we're in!" instead of having a path paved to the division title every season. It kinda happened when Cassell had to play for the year, but not really, since we didn't make the playoffs. Eg. Tony Romo will be ecstatic if the Cowboys make the wildcard or possibly even the division title whereas Pats, Packers, Ravens, Falcons fans will know in a couple week that hey we're gonna make the playoffs now lets just try to get the home field advantage.
  9. Ps; ton y Toni I understand why your posts have so many grammar mistakes now. Typesd that last post off an I touch , this website sucks for apple products. Too bad blackberry battery's dead.
  10. I didn't say they had an almighty defense. I'll be the first to admit we have the most horrendous secondary. My point was you can look at stats all you want, we're ranked 27th in defense? I think we were dead last last season and still made it to the Super Bowl. My point was that this team has enough talent and playmakers on Both sides of the ball to make a run and that its not an absurd or crazy thought to have an opinion regarding the patriots having a shot. I'm sure the Jaguars were destined to get destroyed by Houston today if we went off season stats and projections but they too proved that a team with playmakers can give a top ranked team a tough battle and embarrass their top ranked defense (Houston defense had negative fantasy points today). Only reason I "attacked" your post is cause you write off the Pats like they're the Jets.
  11. It's ok, he doesn't understand what bias and being a fan is and picking teams just because you want them to win, not because it makes the most statistical sense.
  12. Their ranked 6th vs the run, 7th most sacks, and lead the NFL in interceptions. You're a typical Patriots hater, it's cool. Most of your posts in here are bashing the Pats in one way or another, I'd suggest a hobby. I look forward to reading your many defensive replies to this. Oh, and ps: I'm sure most people will predict their team to win the Super Bowl at the beginning of the season, and if they're in a playoff position, then later on. I don't know what kind of fan would go against his own team. I predict the Canucks to win the Cup at the beginning of every season just cause that's what I'm hoping for. It's people like you who last year kept saying there was no way the Patriots would make it to the Super Bowl, just limit their offense and they'll collapse, the Ravens and Steelers and Texans are all gonna get farther than them because they're more well rounded blah blah blah. Guess what, they and that sh*tty defense made it to the Super Bowl and were 1 welker drop away from winning. Look at what a back up QB did to the Texans defense today. Anything can happen. So while you laugh at Pats fan who are wanting their team to the win at the end, we'll laugh at your narrow mind. Enjoy ranting about the Pats kid. Anyways, I'm glad we have a run game this season. Had Gronk been hit with an injury last season, it would have been disastrous. But I have a feeling we'll be fine this year, especially with Hernandez coming back now and Edelman beginning to contribute more and more.
  13. second week in a row I take a gamble by starting someone I shouldn't (taiwan jones last week, alex green this week), second week in a row I'll chalk up a loss in our league, sigh. Need to start going with my gut and not trying to outsmart myself.
  14. Most entertaining and best fight of GSP's career

      Tortorella's Rant

Good point. I recall him stating that he never wanted to be in that position again. Getting knocked out. And he hasn't been since. What a champ.

  15. Effective Jan 1 new regular transit fare are: $2.75 for 1 zone, $4 for 2 zone, and $5.50 for 3 zones...and yet it is the worst run public transit system in North America from my experiences

  16. My guesses are [with Patriots bias in the playoffs of course, as i'd expect from others for their teams]: AFC: 1)Houston 2)Patriots 3)Pittsburgh (contingent on that they get Roethlisberger back for the two games vs the Ravens) 4)Denver AFC Wildcards: Colts and Ravens Colts knock out Denver and Steelers knock out Ravens Texans knock out Colts, Patriots knock out Steelers Patriots knock out Texans on a game winning fieldgoal. NFC: 1)Falcons 2)Packers 3)49ers 4)Giants NFC Wildcards: Bears and Seahawks Giants knock out the bears and the 49ers knock out the Seahawks. Falcons knock out Giants, 49ers knock out the Packers (Bold, I know) 49ers defense shuts down matt ryan and they knock out the Falcons. Patriots vs 49ers (what I hoped for last year) in SB
  17. What the hell 49ers D, can't contain the Rams offense? There goes my shot.
  18. Holy cr*p, I have a pretty fair shot to upset Urine Trouble in our league. He leads by 17 points with LeSean McCoy left. I trail by 17 with Brent Celek, Shaun Suisham and the 49ers D left. Would've won this had I started the Broncos defense who got 26 points in their dominance over the Panthers.
  19. I don't think he's disinterested after screaming at Edelman for making one mistake on a route. It's part of McDaniel's plan too, to run the ball more. I'm shocked that the Bills are making a game outof this.
  20. stupid yahoo servers are down. I wanna see how bad urine trouble is beating me.
  21. Does anyone have experience with Melatonin supplements? Trying to conquer my clinical anxiety in the most safe and healthiest way.

melatonin is bad for you if you use it too much, stops your body from producing it

Just don't consume it too much or your body will need it to sleep

  22. Hoping to upset Urine Trouble this week but his team's incredibly stacked.
  23. You guys are what, 3-6 now? With the rest of your schedule, there is a chance to finish 10-6 considering 6/9 are home games and you don't play very many teams with winning records.
  24. I feel for Champions of Nothing, he got rotated and dominated in our cdc league today..
