  1. Patriots acquire corner Aqib Talib from the Buccaneers for probably nothing more than a 6th or 5th round pick. Former 1st round pick in 2008, 18 interceptions in 4 years, strong, tall and fast. From what I'm hearing from Bucs fans this guy has the potential to be a 'shut one half of the field down' guy which is why the Bucs never released or traded him despite his run ins with the law. Hopefully this latest experiment of Belichick's ends up more like Corey Dillon/Randy Moss and not fat albert..
  2. Hope my home/birth state New Jersey survives, and more importantly, my family still over there and my first ever house I lived in! Can't reach them by phone :(

  3. Do you live in Dallas or in the vicinity? Or are you just rich? Cause isn't this the second Cowboys game you've gone to in Dallas in a short amount of time?
  4. Marquise Cole may have just won himself a starting db spot, he's been glued to slot receivers down field and after he's come into the game to replace Arrington, Rams haven't been hitting any deep passes. Patriots break the Rams 'greatest show on turf' offensive record for most consecutive games with 350+ yards. Cool that they broke it against the record holders. 5-3 heading into the week and the Jets are getting destroyed. I couldn't ask for a more perfect Sunday. Well, winning my fantasy matchups would make it perfect. Also, didn't expect the Jags defense to shut down Rodgers.
  5. Got a 91 on my human anatomy lab exam! Was able to memorize 49 muscles and 19 nerves and locate them and describe their function..studying works! :)

Not sure if sarcasm or dumb-ass.

      We'll go with sarcasm.

  6. Went to my first eve Whitecaps game today. I don't follow the Whitecaps much but want to get into the MLS since I love the EPL. There's only two things I have to say: 1) the crowd, is, AWESOME! What a great atmosphere. I would much rather pay the $25 to go to a Caps game than pay $100 to go to a silent Canucks game. The chants are awesome, especially the big, fat, b*stard. 2) Barry Robson is a whiny, pissy, primadonna little b*tch. I wanted to yell p*ssy at him everytime he was in front of me (was sitting in row 1 to the left of center field). This guy is the worst athlete I have ever seen play across all sports. He clearly doesn't give 2 sh*ts about his team. The second someone even brushes up against him he stops dead in his tracks to complain to the ref and lets the opposing player take the ball from him. I don't know how he can call himself an athlete. Anyways, it was lots of fun. Maybe it was just that time of the month for Robson and he's a better competitor in other games, but today, he was atrocious.
  7. Had to PVR the game because I went to the Whitecaps game, luckily I avoided any information regarding the came. Just finished watching it, and what a game! And by that, I mean what a sh*tty game! We need to replace our corners because they cant cover anything. The offense did not look like they were playing at full speed, I know a bunch of the guys are banged up but this offense couldn't have been performing at above 80% Either way, a win is a win and I am more than happy to take the lead in the division. Ps: Vincent Jackson was money for my fantasy team today!
  8. Initially it felt loud (compared to Rogers Arena which is like a library and BC Place which isn't too loud) but it's a little overhyped in my opinion. It's definitely loud enough to be a factor in games, even though the Seahawks had 2 false starts and the Patriots only had 1, but it wasn't stadium-shaking loud like it's hyped up to be. Definitely the loudest place I've ever been to though.
  9. The majority of the people staying at the hotel I did were Pats fans, and one of the guys knew of a Patriots fan club in Seattle that was hosting a huge Patriots tailgate party so we all went there and ate hotdogs and burgers and chilli before the game.
  10. aand that time out conversation Brady had with sherman and thomas I took tons of pictures of players coming out of the tunnel, running plays during warm ups, some pre snap pictures during the game..but this isn't facebook.
  11. isn't the NFL something crazy, like only 2 teams are above .500 or something?
  12. what if for their next meeting Seattle goes to foxboro?
  13. Shouldn't of been lazy, it was incredible (even though we did lose). How old are you? Why don't you go to Boston without your family with some friends? You can get cheap flights out of Bellingham and even cheaper out of Seattle (stay 1 night at a tukwila hotel, park there for free and they have a free shuttle to the airport). The rest is just accomodations (do you want a fancy hotel? or will a best western do?) and tickets. i'd say it'd be a $1000-$1200 trip if you did a fly out friday, fly back sunday after the game deal. The rest you spend would just be whatever you spend on food and shopping. I'm thinking about driving down next August and taking in a few days of training camp.
  14. All 3 of our losses have been by 2 points or less I believe, missed field goal by gost., last second field goal by baltimore, and the last minute TD by seahawks. I don't see this team, especially this offense, having a worse record than the Phins, Bills and the Jets. If we do, we have bigger problems than just the secondary.
  15. Man, what an experience! Saturday night was beautiful, clear, pretty warm. Walked around downtown Seattle in my white Gronk jersey and saw so many other Patriots fans. Met tons of people who flew in from Boston, or as they say, Bastin, for the game because they follow the Pats to all away games. Got to the field early, got a good spot near the Pats tunnel. Didn't have a sharpie so couldn't get anything signed (quite a few pats signed) but got to shake Robert Kraft's hand, along with others like mccourty,chung,jones,branch..etc. Best part, being within 5 feet of Tom Brady (mancrush). He was pretty cool, smiled and waved to everyone, stood in the tunnel for a bit. Got some great pictures of the guys coming in and out of the tunnel..will post a couple whenever the gf decides to take them off her camera. The game itself was crazy. Century Link can get loud and most of the fans are mature and good, welcoming people. There's the occassional group of idiots here an dthere. Our secondary blows. That p.i call on us on the running back pass could have easily been avoided. Just terrible. 2 interceptions off of 2 tipped passes. But what did it was those 3 points left off the board at the end of the half! Brady takes the intentional grounding, half ends, and we don't get a chance for the easy 3 points. Those points = win. Even though we lost a close one, it didn't make or break my trip at all. So much fun. Next up: head back to Gilette for a game towards the end of the year or next season for training camp when the Saints go to Foxboro. edit: It was also Canada Day at CenturyLink yesterday, never once did I ever see myself singing Oh Canada at a NFL game, but it happened.
  16. Hmmm. Leaving for Seattle in about an hour, was planning on getting settled in at the hotel, take a stroll through downtown Seattle, specifically around the block where the Pats hotel is *cough* *cough* who knows who'll be leaving to go get a coffee or for dinner. But just realized I can get lower bowl tickets for Huskies vs USC for $25, which should be a great game and doesn't start till 4.
  17. 213 Row P. You going to go down to field level for warm ups?
  18. gonna lose my cdc matchup this week thanks to mendenhall..sigh.
  19. Champions of Nothing, what will it take to pry Welker away from you?
  20. That just might be the Jets only "threat", just keep giving it to Greene. Do you really think Sanchez has a chance against this Houston defense?
  21. Who's team name is Crackers in our fantasy league? Even though I still have Shaub playing tomorrow night, Colston's breakout game (finally) won my matchup vs you this week.
  22. yeah they're so damn expensive. My girlfriend bought our tickets for us as my birthday gift so, no complaints here! haha.
