Didn't catch the top but had scaled out majority of my TLRY calls between 50-55 common price, and some at 60 but I did have to sell some this morning at 45, sucks but when my entry on them was a dollar when the commons were in the 6's, can't complain.

If you have long term conviction on strong companies with the fundamentals that back them, no need to worry about trimming. If you're riding the wave of a pumped stock that is not trading on fundamentals or value but rather volume and internet pumps, good idea to take some at 20, some at 40 and by that point your initial capital should be returned and the rest can ride free

Feel bad for people that don’t trim or take profits. Things can go poof up in smoke just like that.

I didn't dispute the fact. I can see it is down. I disagreed with the sentiment that it's disappointing for a stock that has paid generously is retracing and consolidating. Unless, of course, someone bought the top and are in the red.

After running 3500% from ipo in 6 months (I think 0.25 to 9.25 equals that?), down 15% is an issue? A stock needs to retrace and consolidate, especially with a very big earnings call and guidance coming up.

I'd disagree. Small Victoria based company flew from IPO at 25 cents per share to a high of just under $10/share in 6 months. Healthy retracements now while they have expanded their business like crazy, have increased production, more marketing, more US distribution. A lot of us in this thread have averages in the $2 or $3/share range

If you can hold it you'll be rewarded. Rupert plan production started, California launching soon, new distributors, etc. Next earnings report will show big growth, but guidance will also demonstrate how big 2021 will be. If you need the money, never bad to take profit
