They both went through rebuild. their trade and draft all went very well.

our draft department has long history of failing to draft good kids from lower rounds even in rebuilding time. Devils are really good at rebuild and draft.

TBH, I don't mind sign him 2 or 3 years in the summer. He is a solid mid 6 forward. He is not as flashy as Pavelski, but definitely better than Pearson. I know he is American. but we have new GM, right?
