  1. can't agree more We need more Tom Wilson/Kevin Bieksa/Rypien type of Players. The most I like definitely Iginla. They score, they hit, they fight. They are the enforcer of the new hockey era. That is the culture we should build.
  2. Tough. I like iginla type of captain. Pettersson and Hughes doesn’t look like have that type of leaderships.
  3. or we need re-org the bottom 6 to establish our "tough" identity? We should build a new culture that players can score, can hit, can fight. to name a few, Tom Wilson/Kevin Bieksa/Rick Rypien... --- This team is being push around and teammates don't stand up for each other??? serious team culture issue.
  4. TBH, our drafting department isn't impressed in the last decades...
  5. Canucks drafting history are below average, unfortunately.
  6. They both went through rebuild. their trade and draft all went very well.
  7. our draft department has long history of failing to draft good kids from lower rounds even in rebuilding time. Devils are really good at rebuild and draft.

  10. To: New Jersey -- Garland To: Van -- Severson Garland, $5mil friendly cap / 4 years left and plays consistently. Severson, $4.66 mil. second/first pair R HD. -- of course need resign Severson, maybe $6 mil x 6 years?
  11. i.e. re-sign for one year $3 mil deal. If his contract is suppose 6.5 milx 8 years, then we owe him $3.5 mil for year 2023-2024. next year this time, we can sign him $7milx 7 or 8 years. The reason is we have to wait till Pearson, Myers etc contract run out to fit Bo's new salary. thoughts?
  12. Actually, this is a very reasonable proposal. I like it.
  13. CHI can easily trade him for a 2nd round pick.
  14. Each got $50 Mil. Miller 6 years deal Horvart 7 years deal. puzzle solved.
  15. Can we sign him 7milx3years? Will JR call him/his agent? his stats showed he is still an elite top pair offensive D in the last 10 years top 4 will be cup contender caliber Letang Hughs Myers OEL
  16. TBH, I don't mind sign him 2 or 3 years in the summer. He is a solid mid 6 forward. He is not as flashy as Pavelski, but definitely better than Pearson. I know he is American. but we have new GM, right?
  17. I can see next year East C playoff teams probably the same as this years I don't see the bottom 8 teams can crack it..
