  1. I just want to now if Trump will sign the Dow chart for me today?
  2. Are naseau and vomiting symptoms of Covid? Maybe you have something else
  3. Yeah, I was thinking it but looks like I forgot to type it ---> because of lobbying efforts they will be first in line for government assistance of some form. The real financial pain might be all of us paying government debt for years to come, but I am quite happy with that kind of pain.
  4. Good news Now the focus should be on Biden's running mate as that person very well could be president in not too distant future.
  5. I think this speaks to the volumes the system can handle right now.
  6. Because it won't be a total shutdown. Society still needs to move goods and offer services. Don't get me wrong, I understand several businesses will get decimated. China saw up to 25% contraction in some of their financial metrics for the first quarter. Expect similar results in North America. But that still means goods are flowing and services offered. Big banks and major companies are best positioned to survive as they touch more citizens. In fact, Walmart might be a really good investment right now.
  7. Lovely I picked up my daughter at the airport that day She wasn't on that flight but still...
  8. 4 or 5 episodes into Boardwalk Empire Gretchen Mol
  9. Good read since Italy is our test case https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/im-an-italian-mom-under-coronavirus-lockdown-heres-what-i-wish-i-had-done-differently-before-things-got-bad/ar-BB11jvLv?li=AAggNb9 In particular I liked the cooking idea. I will suggest this to my neighbour, then offer to eat the meal with her.
  10. Well We're in this together now!
  11. oh crap I gave him a huggy like
  12. For everyone that quoted @Sean Monahan let me know how quickly your symptoms show. Notice how I didn't quote you guys either
  13. I'm in the office waiting for the last of my staff to get VPN access So hurry up, would ya!
  14. Same. Not sure exactly what it looks like big picture but something like this will have to happen.
  15. I wouldn't rate them as high as Suncor or Enbridge. Suncor is fully integrated (common folk know it best as Petro-Canada). Enbridge is the 'rail line' for the flow of all types of fossil fuel, which is/was already at full capacity. CNQ isn't fully integrated. Their debt levels are a little concerning (just gave a quick scan). But most businesses debt levels are concerning right now. The good news is they have chipped away at their debt over the last two years. Big picture they are a good blue chip company. But they are in the broader group that I expect to struggle for months, probably years to come while Putin and MBS have their pissing contest.
  16. Great idea! I live in a growing community. The local pub finally just opened up last Thu (as in grand opening). I feel so bad for them. Looking forward to visiting them when I can.
  17. Don't count on dividends right now. As a shareholder I want them slashed.
  18. I have been trying to think of all the types of workers that will really struggle. The types that rely on close human contact. Beautician, massage therapist, physiotherapist, chiropractor, etc. They will have it tough. Once this is over I will be booking appointments with those types of services so I can help boost them back up.
