I worry about Clarke going to a division rival. Our ace in the hole has always been goaltending these past few years. It's not so much how much our goaltending will decline but how much a positive impact Clarke will have on an opposing team.
Just my thoughts, not claiming "facts" (just opinions).
Nope. That's his bonus this off-season. His salary is $3 million. Stall is a defenseman while LE is only a winger. Hardly comparable roles imho. Now if LE was a center, it might be more relevant.
Lack of confidence from making a decent run in the postseason? Sorry but I agree to disagree there. It's way better than ending with a whimper this season.
I fail to see how a even an average assistant coach couldn’t get more out of power play even with EP out. But maybe I’m out to lunch since Hughes, Boeser, Miller, Horvat, Schmidt are all scrubs.
Talent might not be there (at least from a defensive standpoint)
What really bothers me is the power play. It *SHOULD* be better. Even with Pettersson out, you've still got lethal weapons like Hughes, Boeser, and Miller. ZERO excuse to be this bad.
Seeing as the arena was 100% funded by the previous owner (nor the Aquilini's) and not the taxpayer, I kind of lean towards this. Let's see what happens when the team needs a new arena (as Rogers is kind of getting up there in age).
I think the name you meant to say was Thomas Gradin. I mean, Gradin’s mother even babysat Naslund as a child!
skip to the 1 minute 10 second mark.
Gradin, I believe also had a hand in drafting Ohlund.
Solid career as a Canuck player. Even better career as a Canuck scout. A legendary Canuck that often gets overlooked.
