I thought Kramer was the Assman? -
People who doubt this, look no further than the relationship between them and Torts today. Both have a deep respect for each other (that’s despite Torts reputation, richly deserved). These guys can work with anybody and be the same classy, respectful individuals they have always been.

[Report] Jim Benning to return for next season

imho, they should've had this discussion last year. It's not like the Canucks ended on a bad note last season. Never liked having a 'lame duck' head coach for a rebuilding club. -

Not a smart move letting Green coach the year on an expiring deal. Believe in him or not, but don't let him hang like that. There's a reason why he tended to lean on vets even when 'playoffs' were a distant possibility during the year. Give him SOME security so he won't have problems getting prospects/developing players much needed icetime without him having to look over his shoulder. -
Brilliant Book/Movie Adaptations

I think the David Letterman adaptation was the best yet: -
Give him a quality defender pairing (like say Hamhuis or Tanev in their prime), and you'll see Hughes really shine in *all* situations.

Canucks next season in Pacific Division

Sub-par backup 30+ year old goalie making $5.7 million cash (you are sub-par if you have a save percentage under 0.9). I seriously doubt they'll even entertain the thought of claiming him barring a series of shutouts by him in this remaining season. Seattle wants to compete. You don't by committing that much cap space on a guy that just isn't that good anymore. -
Mark Donnelly will lead an anti-vaccine protest at the first game (I'm joking but the sad thing is, it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities with that individual)
