  1. None of the above. It's the Canucks & **** the rest.
  2. Fortunately the one criminal case I had to serve on was pretty mundane. Still got a 'hung jury verdict'. Got free eats as the Hotel Georgia (now Rosewood Georgia) during the deliberation phase of the case. Could order *any* item on the menu (heh, so as long as it was non-alcoholic! ). Kind of felt sorry for the bailoffs who had to accompany us (they sat their own table and just drank coffee).
  3. How long have people been taking each other out in the name of 'you know who'?
  4. I've been on multiple juries (I can't get even three freaking numbers on the 649 but for some reason, my name keeps appearing on jury duty summons !) I can tell you it's VERY hard to get 12 people to agree on anything (re: criminal cases vs civil cases). VERY, VERY hard.
  5. I myself won't have to as I have to inflate it first (it has an air leak so it deflates fairly quickly).
  6. How many times do I gotta tell you boss? Myers petered out.
  7. We need to spend the money on creating more bike lanes.
  8. But of course the league would rather penalize the Canucks retroactively for a contract they first approved "cause cap circumvention".
  9. Our most important game changer - Demko is the one that will torpedo our season if he gets hurt for a lengthy period of time.
  10. Jim might be reluctant to go to his boss and ask him to pay for his mistake. At least after this season. We're not talking about a head coach's salary but multiples of that.
  11. Seattle Owner(s) David Bonderman, Jerry Bruckheimer, and Tod Leiweke And his salary is hardly low for a 4th line winger. $3 million cash next season.
  12. I want to be your buddy aGENT. . . . . oh, **** the Flames. Ah, I feel so much better for saying that.
  13. Think the biggest deterrent in Seattle claiming him is his actual cash salary next season. True, their owners have tons of money but still, businessmen are businessmen. That's a heck of alot of money for a nothing special backup goalie.
  14. The first one isn't that important as that is more dependant on the team imho (and we're having a rough year for alot of legitimate reasons). But yeah, even ignoring that one stat, the other ones ain't too flattering.
  15. or just dress 7 defensemen. Like we'd really notice one less fringe NHLer up front.
  16. Yeah I give it to Benning if I don't like a particular transaction but this guy was a waiver pickup. Cost us nothing (well other than some cash) in terms of assets. No big deal if he doesn't work out. Just don't give him a 'qualifying offer' and he gets to try playing for another team when this season is done. Zero risk move.
  17. I remember the looks Taylor Pyatt gave you with the eyes of his.
