  1. To be expected when Aquilini cut back on the Slim Jim's to the players.
  2. Let them get more shots on net (just don't let them score). Pump up the save percentage of Holtby.
  3. Maybe you can lend them your scooter? Or maybe the league won’t allow to use them on the ice.
  4. Lack of time in between games (take your pick, schedule, injuries, COVID outbreak on team, etc) means team can’t really work on anything. I’m amazed a guy like Demko has looked so good on the whole this season.
  5. Forget his points. His kind of enthusiasm is infectious to other players on the team. A keeper!
  6. My condolences as I know Mods aren’t allowed to have an ignore list (as they to see everyone’s posts to do their job properly though that means having to sift thru a lot of sewage).
  7. Biggest crime of the season is that Hogs could've been a very strong candidate (if not outright win it) for the Calder.
  8. Socialism at work. Instead of bringing everyone up, you bring everyone down.
  9. That was George who works in the office for the Canucks. *NOT* a player.
  10. Yeah, he except he shuts down the line he’s on. Fringe NHLer. LE was a legitimate two way NHLer in his prime. Just not for us.
  11. I think of the greatest actor to play Sherlock Holmes...............Basil Rathbone.
  12. If Travis Green remains as head coach, I'm skeptical that'll happen. *Only* reason any rookies/sophmores are playing now is because of injuries/covid (Green had no choice but to use whatever healthy body he had) imho.
  13. You bet your last dollar the Laffs *WISHED* they overpaid for Markstrom. That team ain't going anywhere in the post-season with Anderson (or whoever they put in net).
  14. It was like putting a defensive liability like Gaudette into a 3rd line checking role.
  15. meh on Marleau. Seems like he's stuck around just to hit Howe's record. But maybe I'm way off base & just in a terrible mood.
  16. Without talking specifically about the players, the left/right D is something a coach would understandably strive for but it isn’t a hard rule. Better to have two competent left side D as a pairing than one iffy left or right D in a pairing. I’ll go further, I’ll take *ALL* decent left side D over three L/R pairings if a couple of individual D are subpar.
