11th overall pick in the 2023 Entry Draft
NewbieCanuckFan replied to KyGuy123's topic in Canucks Talk
Ron Delorme was very high on him. -
Don't show that graph to Pee-air (Low rent Ben Shapiro leader of the Cons).
-
11 is a bad luck number for Canucks. (see 1970 NHL draft). (I ain't even going to mention that piece of **** that stole the #11 )

That damn Mike Gillis leaving Alvin/JR with an empty farm.

Think age difference somewhat mitigates that. And I'd guess a good amount of that weight is fat on Musk. *IF* this happens, I still think it'll depend how seriously each person takes to training (eg., Musk can't get his butler/man servant to do his training for him)...I bring up the Trudeau boxing match example again. Remember that Musk is a master promoter (on Orange man's level minus the debauchery ) so who knows if this is all part of a something else.

Garland only broke the 20 goal barrier once in his career (and that was with Arizona). But his value is more than his goal scoring (which lets face it, it ain't alot). It'll depend on the other intangibles he brings (being a pain in the ass to play *against*, energy player, etc.,) & how much the Preds will place a value on that. -
I've said this before but Henry Winkler got his "Fonze" character by copying his friend Stallone on how acted like in real life (WAY before either was "famous"). Here is a movie trailer of early roles for either actor:

Is this some thinly veiled insult at the former President of the US?

Paul Reinhart still had some gas left in the tank. Calgary basically let him go & play elsewhere as they felt he was 'done like dinner' & they 'were going places'. Move came to almost bite them in the ass as Reinhart was pretty solid for us in his two seasons with us. If only the refs hadn't screwed up that Otto kicking in the goal in overtime. That was the only year Calgary won the cup. -

Take a good look at who got one 1st place vote (Pasternak). Jeromy Jacobs strikes again (and I don't even like the Oilers). -

Might end up as the greatest NHLer of all time.....that didn't win a Cup. That's as close a compliment you'll hear from me giving an Oiler (even if it's a backhanded compliment ) edit: ok 2nd, Marcel Dionne (imho) has that #1 position locked-up. -
Might be a while before the Canucks have two playoff games. Though we are in a fairly easy division.
