Yeah I agree with NUCKER67. You aren’t going to get anything of substance for a guy with two whole NHL games under his belt (one of which he **** the bed though that wasn’t his fault as he was thrown to the wolves). Better we keep him in case we lose a goalie in the expansion draft. -
Hockey gods really have it in for us. True, we still would've lost against that team stacked with hall of famers but losing your best D (not to mention team Captain) before the start of the post-season in 1982, is like going into battle with one arm tied behind your back. It was a fluke injury as well that took him out (I *think* it was an accidental collusion with another teammate in practice).

To be fair though, you have to look at their target audience. Of COURSE they're going to alter some facts (sometimes obliterate all the facts lol) to make the movie more "palatable' to this target audience. Still, you get movies or TV shows that attempt to go 'outside the box'. Look at the following old TV series "The Man from UNCLE". At pretty much the height of the cold war, you've got the two main leads - one American agent & one Soviet agent protecting the world from "evil":

Should've done what you guys (eg. CIA) did in 1953 Iran. Take out the democratically elected government in Iran and install a stooge who'll 'follow orders' (probably a good reason the Iranians don't think much of you guys today...). Not saying remotely it was the right thing to do but if "in for a penny in for a pound".
