I thought Gillis left Benning with nothing? Seriously though, great to see a guy that wasn't that long ago going unclaimed in waivers doing well now.

Yeah I was only responding to the issue of Miller vs Pacioretty. I'd actually put in Hughes over Gio (even though the later just won the Norris the previous season). Allstar games are for players with offensive skills to showcase. That's Hughes. But, I hate any stinkin' Flames players LOL.

Well Pacioretty does have more points currently than Miller (he has played several more games though) so it's not like he's that inferior to Miller's offensively (if that).

I believe they actually were still using some of those ancient vehicles as late as ‘the six day war’ (eg., Sherman tanks). I forgot how they obtained them (maybe sold as surplus stuff from France?). It had a ton of flaws but it’s amazing how these Sherman tanks got around (Russians used a bunch of them on the Eastern front in WWII I think as part of the lend-lease program. Nickname for the tank was “Ronson” (eg., ronson cigarette lighter) as they had a habit of bursting into flames when hit by the enemy. It was a “success” for the Yanks because they produced a crapload of them in WWII. Relatively easy to repair in the field helped.

Yeah Kesler seemed to fit real well on the power play being the trigger man (where he got a bunch of his goals). If Boeser can stay healthy & fully charged for the season, he’ll score a lot of goals as well on the power play. I figure Jay Beagle is around the same level as Maholtra. (different players but solid vets).

What Stops A Bad Guy With A Gun In Texas?

I wasn't making any kind of judgement on way or the other; only wanted to make that distinction why BC seems to spend less on students (re: public education). One reason (not the ONLY reason) is that a large number are sent to private schools. -

It's a bit deceptive in that one has to account for students enrolled in private education. BC leads the nation (percentage) in sending students to private school (see attached study) followed close behind by Quebec: https://www.fraserinstitute.org/sites/default/files/where-our-students-are-educated-measuring-student-enrolment-in-canada-2017.pdf -

No homeless that I can see in downtown Dallas. Mainly because there are no residential houses downtown as far as I can tell. All office buildings. Few if any vendors open after dusk (ie., restaurants. Zero Starbucks even around, etc.). -
[PGT] Vancouver Canucks at Calgary Flames | Dec. 29, 2019

I know jack about stats but aren't those possession numbers going to "look" bad after you built up a sizeable lead? The only numbers that count are the ones in the scoreboard. -
Probably too much to expect alot from just one movie to 'end the trilogy' while retcon-ing the previous movie. I'd rate it better than the Last Jedi but that isn't much of an accomplishment.

I don't actually think she's that bad looking. It's Rian Johnson who had her dressed up in a potatoe sack and made up to look fairly ugmo.

One of the reasons for the popularity of the NFL (and other major league sports) *IS* gambling. Heck, even people who don't particularly like the NFL (or North American football) often are involved in office betting pools.
