That’s Joulevi right now with the difference being he can still develop into more of a well rounded D as he’s still a prospect. Gardiner is what he is at his age.
I'll give full credit for Torts getting his team ready but he's always struck me as a guy with a VERY short fuse. As that slimeball coach Bob Hartley knew, just push the right buttons and Fonze will lose his cool.
Easier to shelter a forward than a defenseman. Not that we don't have two capable D to mentor them but they have a tendency to get hurt. Still think Hughes is good enough to stick with the parent club but wouldn't be alarmed if he plays on the Comets next season.
