    One of the most heartbreaking things is that we all couldn't celebrate a cup win together. Can't think of a fanbase and community more deserving of a championship. Would've been something else to see CDC after a cup win.

    Which is why I included Bjorkstrand as another example lol. Middle six wingers that are paid in the range of 5-7 million per season have no value in the NHL at the moment. Another example is Max Pacioretty (and I would classify him as a first line winger).

    Vrana not being claimed pretty much confirms that players like Boeser, Garland, etc have no value at the moment. Middle six wingers are going for pennies at this point. For example, Bjorkstrand in the offseason.

    Not a bad deal at all. Solid right-handed 4C. If he doesn't show up, you just bury him in the minors with no cap penalty. He'll be a fan favourite in Vancouver (like Troy Stecher).

    Love the hardline approach that Allvin is taking with Miller. Don't make a deal for the sake of making a deal (cough Benning cough). Wouldn't be upset if the Canucks don't make a move today. There isn't much value coming back for top-end forwards.

    Definitely the Caps deal. I'm a huge fan of both McMichael and Iorio. Plus the added 2nd round pick in a deep draft is perfect.

    The team should definitely keep OEL for now. You can buy him out or trade him in a couple years. Having Hughes and OEL solidifies the left side for the next few seasons. It also allows the Canucks to just focus on picking up defensive defensemen to complement both. Myers is the one who needs to go.

    Hughes, Schenn, and OEL should be the only three defensemen back next season. Dickinson shouldn't even be in the lineup at this point. Trade him or even buy him out in the offseason.

    I also think that this trade could be a precursor for the team picking up a younger RD. Don't think the Canucks are done yet.

    That's fine as well. Getting rid of that contract is great.

    The trade is technically for a late second, as Ottawa is near the bottom of the standings. Great move for the Canucks. Hamonic has been a pain since he's been here, and would likely have another random leave of absence at some point in his tenure. Also the extra cap space is awesome.
