  1. This needs to be modded into the game. Sick flow.
  2. Hey man, good to have you back.

    1. Sharpshooter

      Sharpshooter

Thanks for saying so SE. Good to be back.

  3. Now that's something we can agree on! :D
  4. Anyone not getting full points in stealth or archery because it would overpower your char? I stopped short in the Sneak tree because I don't want to crouch and turn invisible to AI that's already pretty inept at handling stealth.
  5. Sneaky archer, uber magi, sword and board warrior. It's all good, baby. Also, no classes in the game, just skills you focus on and skills you don't. Same here, other than the giant launch and crashes/freezes/corrupt saves. In game though... it's marvelous.
  6. Read the last few pages for an answer to that particular question (answer being F@CK YEAH) and tips to enjoy it. :D
  7. Tips? Don't kill the chicken. When asked about a suspicious house, help. Read all the books. Explore, never know what you'll come across.
  8. Which is why reading is essential to picking well, no? ...Unless the guy wants someone to pick for him, in which case he should just uninstall. I don't think any of them give you boosts to stealth/archery. Although it really doesn't matter, as you can max out whatever skills you want with any race you want. It's really about the racial bonuses and looks.
  9. If you use a bow, put them in archery. If you use a two-handed weapon, put into two-handed, if you use fireballs - destruction. Really, not that complicated if you read the descriptions.
  10. There's a mod that turns all the spiders into bears. Bears that shoot poison and web. Yep.
  11. I helped myself to their bow at the beginning. Been sporting it for most of my 22 levels. Anyone completely forgoing blacksmithing? My weapons are not improved at all.
  12. It's definitely bigger than GTA, as for RDR I've only ever played at my buddy's house and it was mostly online. I really don't know. It is big though, and there is a LOT to do. There are around a dozen towns with places to go and explore, dozens if not hundreds of caves, bandit lairs, occupied keeps, and so on to visit and clear. I've recently stopped fast traveling unless it's across the whole man, and the game is even more enjoyable. Come across some awesome random scenarios that make the world feel... alive.
  13. I don't seem to have any problems with arrows, I've got hundreds now, of all kinds. There's a perk that allows you to recover 2x as many arrows as well. I haven't bought a single thing in the game, except soul gems and magic tomes I think.
  14. Also, there is a dragon skeleton having a 24/7 seizure right outside the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary. I don't even remember killing one nearby so it's a little odd. Still, minus some game freezes, I've gotten off pretty easy as far as glitches go. Other things: - The armor you get for the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves Guild is awesome in this game (especially as you advance along in the guild). - Shadowmere is pretty awesome. I don't even need a companion with him(?) around, because he'll run right up to everything and start kicking it, which I found really funny. But is it just me, or does riding horses look super silly in this game? - I've killed three companions so far (seems like I'm not alone in this). The first two walked in front of me mid-battle and I lit them on fire. The other one I killed on purpose because he was extremely annoying. It feels like later in the game they're more of an annoyance than actually helpful IMO. The one thing I don't like about the game is that I don't have enough time for it. I have real problems, I know. There are three dragon skeletons at the Mage's college.. I only killed two. They twitch because of the wind I think, the one right in front of the doors seems to be breakdancing.
  15. It's definitely faster paced than Fallout. Just walking across the game world is way more fun than Fallout, but I didn't enjoy either 3 or NV that much in the first place (especially NV). Don't bother with Oblivion if you just want to catch up. Skyrim takes place 200 years after. Besides, Skyrim is better than Oblivion is every way, except for the menus. The person who designed the menus should be fired, shot, and buried with his ides, because it's the worst possibly menu system ever conceived for a PC game.
  16. Yeah... I don't know man. Try completing the mission and see what happens?
  17. It's what Fable was promised to be by Moleneux, but never was. Plus it has badass dragons. It is huge. I don't know how else to answer that question. Acres and acres to trek through. The hype should have been bigger if it wanted to match Skyrim. Graphics are great. Are apples better than cars? Answer: both are good.
  18. There's a quest where some guy asks to tag along, the tree quest. If you agree, he counts as a companion, I guess. I just got him killed. :D
