Yay, more calls where he gets excited about the other teams goals more/just as much as as ours, in other markets their TV guys don't sound enthusiastic at all when the opposing team scores, check out Detroit. I have all the respect in the world for Shorty, he's had an amazing run, but time to let it go, it's time for change there. I'm also not a fan of "deflected in", you use "score" or "scores", those are my two cents.

This guy is a real NHL dman who was harassed by the idiotic fanbase/media here that tried to ruin his NHL dream and career, hope he's owns the Canucks down the road, rooting for him

As someone who has had quarter season tickets for 7 years, the current goal song by Simple Minds has been quite the hit at Canucks games, huge portions of stadium sing along, it's the most popular song that the stadium has regarding the Canucks since U2 which was their intro for many years. Toronto has an 80's goal song as well

I've never understood this, Rogers Arena is always open to these guys and the odd time its not they have 8 Rinks in Burnaby, none of this makes any difference really

Im sure this topic has been posted at this time of year the last 6 or 7 years, we get it, we've had a bad decade, but let these new guys (management) build over time and give them some respect, as Jeff Paterson stated, on paper this roster right now looks really good, its s matter of seeing how they gel and also the biggest thing will be health, can they stay healthy? Canucks have probably lost more man games than any NHL team the last 5 or 6 years, we always have bad luck with injuries to our most key players, I don't care if people say it's an excuse, its a valid one, no one has it worse than us with the injury bug. Depth can't replace a Demko, or a Kuzmenko or a Pete
I'll say it right now, Canucks look like they could battle for top 3 spot in division if they stay relatively healthy, im not buying this hype with Edmonton, they don't have goaltending and rely on powerplays to win games.

If Boston is interested as rumored, and he doesn't wanna sign here, Boston can look at a Lysell,Macavoy and 1st package to send over

John Shannon thinks they'll be battling for 3rd in the division, I don't put too much into these types of articles. Honestly if they win at the pace they did last year under Tocchet and company, they'll have a playoff spot locked up by early April

Micheal Ferland should not be on this list as he had concussion problems, if he was healthy he was supposed to be a top 6 option for the Canucks. Messier and Schroeder jump out at me, also someone not on the list, Emerson Etem

They have one of the better dmen in the league, thats what. Its kinda funny, Detroit literally handed us Quinn Hughes, and now Hronek

How can anyone hate adding a legit top 4 dman? I don't get this fanbase sometimes, why is this topic even created here? Every NHL team wanted Hronek

In Russian culture its normal to marry at like 21 or 22 years old, this guy could be having some fun in Vancouver right now as an NHL player but got tied up early, daaaamn, same thing happned to Tryamkin, either way congrats Podz and Sasha!

If the Canucks score on that Game 7 OT breakaway the Flames would have no cup right now

This team had a record of 41-40-3, very mediocre, and got hot in the playoffs. They barely made the playoffs by a point or two, but i think what changed their fortunes in the playoffs was the big moves Pat Quinn made at the trade deadline to bolster the roster.

I don't mean to be ignorant at all, and no disrespect to Derek, but today was the first time I even heard that he was part of this organization, all the best to him moving forward

LOL what a loser this guy is
