  1. A 2nd straight game where the league took 2 points away from the Canucks, unbelieveable, Garland goal should have tied the game, and a follow through high stick on Motte is reversed?? Who else in the league gets this sort of crap treatment on a weekly basis?

@Pears  I think it’s more a case of refs that are incompetent more than anything else.  Sure there are Kelly Sutherland types but imho, there are very few refs/officials that are good at their jobs anymore.

Blaming the league?  How 'bout the Canucks just aren't good enough?  This is still Benning's roster, what are we expecting?

If they hadn't shat the bed in the first five minutes they could have had a better result, but they came out slow like they have numerous times this season and paid for it. We also benefitted from a missed icing call. But yeah, easier to put it all on the refs.

  2. LOL the officiating towards the Canucks has been the worst out of all professional sports, don't even try to argue this point because youre an idiot if you do, there is video of this and the NHL needs to investigate, enough is enough

@Rubik The league knows their precious Knights are losing ground and they can’t have them miss the playoffs.

instead of just calling the game, ref's "manage" the game. Ron McLean must have had a woody.

The league won't start taking their officiating problem seriously until they're forced to by a judge.

  3. Canucks were 2 points out after the win in Toronto on Saturday night, fast forward to tonight and they're 5 points out of a wild card. The Canucks have had 3 or 4 of these long 4 or 5 day breaks between games the last 2 months, starting tomorrow they play a whole lot of hockey every other day, I think looking at the schedule the last month or so, they wanted to position themselves within striking distance right before the schedule got busy, in that case, job well done.
  4. Vegas gets bailed out by officiating every time they play like garbage, Canucks are so much better than them
  5. Senators hanging tough with Vegas, 1-1 after 2, hope Sens can pull it off, also Anaheim tied 2-2 after 2 with the Sharks, need a Sharks win there too, Winnipeg losing helped
  6. A lockout would be hilarious, I have friends that love baseball for some reason and I would just love if it went away for one year
  7. The fact is, the Canucks are trying to win the cup in the next 3 years, as a fan that excites me, on Jeff Mareks morning show he mentioned Vancouver as the most intriguing team to watch at the deadline, Canucks are in good hands!

I think a lot depends on what happens at the trade deadline, and at the draft.

This team needs picks, cap room, speed, size and skill. We need a more balanced lineup.

JB went for skill and the bigger teams walk over us. To be truthful I'm not even sure this team

can compete in 3 years. I hope I'm wrong.

  8. I don't understand, why do the Canucks have to trade anyone at all?? if Boudreau started the year here Canucks would be at the top of the division. My plan would be not to do anything at all

@rychicken By what standard are you judging it? Green's version of the Canucks wasn't very good. Boudreau has brought out a lot out of this team that was supposedly "not very good".

Certainly, if the team was built like trash, they wouldn't be competing with the better teams of the league, no? They'll just lose every single game like Green did.

Need to cop some cap to grab a Cup!

  9. Congrats to the NHL for the Blues win! If this was the Leafs with this many players/coaches in Covid protocol, they would have postponed the game, such a joke, Canucks were the way better team tonight again just like last game, very proud of this team given the circumstances

      Ballisticsports.

They may have been given the option, but knowing what happened last year ,Canucks may have decided not too?

      Pears

I just don’t understand how they were allowed to play without fans and we couldn’t. And at the same time postpone our games when we weren’t getting hit by covid, but tell us to play on when we’re missing like 5 or 6 key guys.

      Where's Wellwood

Lots of teams have played with less. Montreal, Ottawa, and NYI come to mind.

  11. Evander Kanes 3 team list is Tampa Bay, Florida and Vancouver, the Canucks should try to sign him near league minimum, would be great, dump Chiasson or Pearson, its time to go for the cup in the next couple years here, fans here are uneducated losers, real hockey minds know this would be a great move
