thankgod Im off work today Musta snowed 12 or 13 cm overnight...on top of the 15 or we had on Sunday..looks absolutely nutty outside..its party cloudy now and like -1..doesnt look like this snow's gonna melt anytime soon...the weather network said a few flurries this evening,overnight, and tommorow morning edit: here's the forecast for Surrey...another 5-10 cm of snow by tommorow morning..I go by that forecast since I live on the Surrey/Delta border pretty much http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/cabc0284/

the funny thing is...calgary's colder than we are (albeit a dry cold as opposed to a moist cold here that goes right to your bones), but they get less snow than Vancouver whens the last time in snowed 30 or 40cm in Calgary?? heck even 20?? we've had a few storms like that the last few years, and possibly another one on the way tonight id rather deal with cold than snow..snow just makes a mess and tought to get anywhere

Yup, snow starting in most areas later this afternoon...5-10 cm Tuesday though they said itll be a more significant snowfall..forecast model saying it could be 15-20 cm

The higher accumulations are expected over higher terrain and areas away from the water. This is a warning that significant snowfall is expected or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements. A pacific frontal system approaching the British Columbia coast is spreading strong southeasterly winds to exposed coastal areas. Winds up to 70 km/h over south coastal regions and up to 90 km/h for northern regions will ease overnight or early Thursday morning as the front moves inland. The front is also giving snow over the Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley - west including Abbotsford. Snowfall accumulations of 5 to 10 cm are expected tonight through Thursday morning before changing to rain or mixed rain or snow. The higher accumulations are expected over higher terrain and areas away from the water.

An intense frontal system will approach the coastal areas of British Columbia tonight. Southeast winds up to 90 km/h will develop ahead of the front over northern coastal sections this evening and southeast winds up to 70 km/h will develop later tonight over exposed southern coastal sections. Strong southeast winds are expected to abate early Tuesday morning with the passage of the front. Yeah...another reason every major city should have their own weather centres... toronto doesnt know s***....the only reason they issued the snowfall warning BEFORE it happens was because they got owned yesterday and didnt even know it was snowing out here... anyways..wow more snow...we're almost upto last years snow totals and its not even January yet
