    I know people love Bruce, and he is indeed a jolly, affable fellow (ok not this season so much), but he has made some absolutely bizarre strategic moves. The most glaring of which for me was him putting Miller back at centre so quickly. But yeah, Brock on PP1 is just the most recent one.

    I can only assume they are trying to get Brock kickstarted by tipping in or jamming in some net front garbage.

    I’ve always been convinced that the guy is too worried about his “beach bod” and just too damn bulky. Needs to lean out by about 10 pounds and perhaps he might gain a step. Otherwise, its not looking promising for him.

    It’s “the refs are against us” thing here that is beyond lame. I agree that overall, reffing is not at a high level.

    Of course we shouldn’t like calls like that. But there are bad calls everywhere, and they happen to every team. There is no conspiracy against our team by the refs. Every teams fanbase thinks the refs are against them. Just kill the damn penalty. Which we can’t seem to do these days.

    Oh look, a person who knows hockey. Spot on. Bo is being given more freedom offensively and look at him. Look at our 2013 #9 pick all grow’d up. Just looked at that draft again….VERY solid Top 10.

    The longer he stays on that pace the less likely it is we trade him. Can you imagine watching Bo popping his 50th in another jersey? I doubt Aqua will want to. And from what we all know, this is all that matters.

    Some folks went “all in” on questioning Bo’s value to this team. And now they look foolish and are trying to move goal posts with such nonsense as “but, but, where has THIS Bo been for the last few years?”. He’s always been very good, and its not unheard of that a player takes another step up at around age 27. Its ok to admit you were wrong, Bo doubters.

    Ok Bo, get another one. Single goal games are kinda beneath you at this point.

    Bo is making 5.5 in his current contract. Then he starts showing he’s a 30 goal scorer with upside for more, not to mention a league leader in face-offs, and they barely give him a raise on an initial offer? That’s not respecting the player, sorry.

    If true - I have issues with Frankie S. sometimes - that is absolutely ridiculous.

    I highly doubt he’s going to keep up this pace of goals, but what if he is indeed putting together a sort of non-Pavel type (he’s in his own category) of historical season of goal scoring? No way you can trade him. Gonna have to pay up. As you say, if they did indeed low ball him in the Summer, then they deserve pie in the face they are getting right now.

    Yup. Some people love to go on about Bo’s “soft leadership”, he doesn’t throw hits, blah, blah, blah. But I’ll bet to Rutherford he’s one scary mofo right now.
