  1. Quick question CDC... I quit my job and had 4 k in vacation pay (over 2 yrs) and a 600 dollar paycheck, i only got paid around 2,600... is that normal tax deduction for that pay bracket? Haven't seen my paystub yet... Signed worried.

      One problem may be that they have to tax you as if you make that much on every paycheque. So a $4600 pay period (assuming you are paid biweekly) translates to about $120K per year. So you would have been taxed at that level. The good news is, you should get some of that back a tax time next year.

      yeah i gotcha ari, well i had about 1100-1200 for each of the last 2 years backed up and 600 from my final week of actual work. I get that totally since my "bracket" is that high up, as long as in the long run i get it paid back haha. That's good to hear I just have to play the waiting game now, thanks for helping straighten it out goalie13/arigold, much appreciated! :D

      No prob. I learned about that the first time I ever got a big bonus. I lost about half in deductions, but then got some of that back the following April.
