  1. Yeah.. that was disappointing.. Cooke has been great though!
  2. Yeah I think Portlands stars are going to get worn down by Kelowna's big forwards, if Cooke's better I think they can win the series!
  3. this is going to be a heck of a series, I think whoever wins this wins the WHL!
  4. Linden is a very smart man, I doubt he hires Feaster, but probably will hire one of the rising young hockey minds (Benning or Botterill)
  5. I think some of us fans are getting caught up with the owners meddling, I feel like the only reason they were is that the West teams around us were getting a lot better, and Gillis and the Canucks were making minor moves. Look when we made the playoffs with the division titles and the finals run, didn't hear a peep from the owners. Deep down they bleed blue and green, and were intervening because they can't accept medicority. I won't be surprised if Tortorella is canned as well, and I think if good enough hockey minds are in place then the owners will take a step back like they did before.
  6. Good win! I thought it was going to be Portland/Kelowna West Final all along.. Though lots of hockey to be played
  7. that is pretty sweet.. Tvrdon should add a nice element to the top 6.. and McCoy looks like he gives some sandpaper!
  8. No point in making a trade, for the sake of a trade.. we all knew this year was a transition year.. until the cap went up and what not.. I get what gillis is saying sort of, but its time to crap or get off the pot soon.. how long is "this is a process" going to be acceptable for the owners.. They pour all this money into the team for a sub par product... I think if by the end of next year.. the team is still treading water, with no real forward movement then Gillis may get his walking papers...
  9. so I saw the game on the 27th.. and that was a nice 7-1 win.. they have just dismantled 3 other teams too.. haha this run is quite the streak.. great goaltending.. insane depth.. I really think if they keep this up they could go all the way!
  10. I will be going to the game with my pops against Kamloops! should be good, I always try to catch the Rockets when they are in Victoria!
  11. Make that 27-3-0-2 with a 5-3 win over Prince Albert! 11 wins in a row for the boys... Cooke is 20-1-0-2 now.. wow!
  12. haha amazing.. Bell is the hero in back to back games! Im looking forward to Dec.27 going back home ot see them play! I think Baillie and Whistle may get drafted this year..and a team needing a goalie may sign Cooke!
  13. loving Keslers game this year.. he looks like a man possessed! lets get him a goal in the 3rd for the gordie howe hattrick!
  14. Yeah this team has been dominant! Nice win tonight.. down 5-3 with 2:20 left.. and we score with 38 and 9 seconds left.. then Bell wins it in overtime! No Severson and Whistle played.. solid win! 25-3-0-2 now.. unreal
  15. Nice to see the guys doing well! will have to see them next time they are in Victoria!
  16. Wow! 2nd team in league history to come back from that.. unreal!
  17. If there is a team that can come back from 3-0, it's these Rockets...
