  1. That's the point, why is absent going so far out of his way to prove minister is a normal person with opinions that sometimes change a little over time. Its redundant and extremely immature and childish
  2. Absent....all your proving is that you have no life and need a new hobby. No one cares. You make no sense and just look stupid, your reading comprehension is terrible. Please stop
  3. It wasn't that he couldn't do any. He did 3 but each one didn't qualify due to bad form. So while still pretty weak at least he can do a few, just not with good form
  4. Explain further.....Cederholm? Hutton? Cederholm project to be a 5-6 d-man and Hutton is a long shot to fulfill his potential.
  5. I'd go with Fluery before Tuch as well. We basically have no d prospects beyond Corrado.
  6. Some poster on here met him and Dal Colle said he hated the Canucks or something of the sort. Just like any fan has teams they like or hate in the NHL, I'm sure his hate isn't strong enought to pull a Lindros and he'll quickly learn to like the team that will be paying him millions to play in the NHL in one of the best facilities in the NHL and probably one of the nicest cities to live in.
  7. I really question your reading comprehension bud. Alex burrows even strength goals? Maybe look at Alex burrows goals for against top teams vs bottom teams to evaluate how valuable of a player he is for your team. That's a comparable stat to the one Minister put up. It's simply an observation and you need to go back to the thread and see that the post directly states Ehlers goals for against top teams vs bottom teams. The exact same evaluation that was put in the Ritchie thread. Then the playoff stats came after on request. Your blind with hate for minister and love for Ehlers.
  8. You get really upset when something negative gets said about Ehlers. I'm guessing its because you challenged anyone to find any actual statistical evidence to prove that Ehlers is a can't miss prospect. Now that some has come out you can't handle being wrong so you claim its a witch hunt and doesn't mean anything.
  9. Your reading comprehension is lacking bud. In the original post he showed Ehlers GOALS for against top 5 teams vs bottom 5 teams. The exact same parameters as this Ritchie analysis, nothing is different. Bottom 5 - 26 goals Top 5 - 3 goals Someone then brought up Ehlers 28 points in the playoffs and minister broke that down by series. He even stated how it was a good total. Your love affair with Ehlers is blinding you from reality and its getting annoying how you attack anyone that says anything potentially negative towards him.
  10. Thanks minister. Interesting stat to look at especially when comparing prospects. Saw the post in the Ehlers thread. Good food for thought.
  11. I get being frustrated with what seems like constant negativity when it comes to media and hockey, especially in Vancouver where the doom and gloom of west coast winter winter seems to breed love for hating the Canucks. However as far as prospects go if you pay attention you'll find just as many glowing articles about how great Horvat is or how great Fox's season has been. Horvat has been fairly unspectacular this year so a negative article has popped up and a few criticisms have been thrown his way. It's bound to happen.
  12. This is exactly what I'm talking about. I note a few criticisms that I've noticed watching a few games and people like you get their panties in a bunch and cry foul. "Horvat is out best prospect" wah wah. How dare I say that he looked kinda slow and not that impressive in the games I watched. Its ok to state some possible negatives that a prospect has or needs to work on the be better. I'm not saying Horvat is a terrible prospect but like many others that watch him I think fans need to temper expectations because expectations are high considering how he was drafted and an elite talent in Nichushkin was passed over for him. Maybe he will be the next ROR or Bergeron but it's ok to critique a prospect, doesn't mean you don't want him to be great.
  13. Meh. I watched the game last night and many others this year. Just my opinion. Watching the game you see flashes of what certain prospects bring to the table even when playing bad. Domi made some great offensive plays and created a goal. Zadorov had many great rushed. Anderson was invisible as was Horvat except one good play. Just worry about Horvat being able to keep up in the bigs. If he looks slowish in juniors and floats a lot then I'm worried about how he can keep up in the NHL. Yes I know its blasphemy to express any doubt or concern about any Canuck prospect, especially one of our best and the blind homers will cry and scream but it's reality
  14. It's too bad he was traded for Schneider and Nichuskin was available because the expectations are now very high for him. He'd have to be one hell of a good 3rd line centerman to make it worthy.
  15. I agree with the post. It seems Horvat was drafted so high as being on the up and up after his monster playoffs in his draft year. This year has been a relative dissapointment, seeing his play in a few regular season games and with his peers at the WJC he really seems like a mediocre prospect not deserving of going ahead of Nichuskin. He looks too slow to be a really be effective as a defensive specialist and not talented enough offensively to be a top line centerman. Maybe he can adapt and will excel in the NHL but I have my doubts.
  16. Looks to have very quick feet. Would like to see some other guys doing the same drills to compare. Be really nice to see how he compares to other big guys to see how he stacks up.
  17. For a guy who was toted to "play every shift like it's his last". He really doesn't look that way from what I've seen. Pretty casual out there.
