  1. If Trevor does anything, it should be to get more centers on this team. Or at least wingers who can play center. He himself was one of those. We have too many slow, one-dimensional types and projects.

  2. Wow. The guy wanted media guys to burn in hell and all I said was that Linden was still technically a liar (which he was, hence the apology by him) and CDC proceeds to go on all out offensive. Non-issue though. I think Francesco hired the right guy. Linden can flush this team down the toilet for decades and will still get a free pass. (Not that I'm saying he will, Jesus. I mean Linden.)
  3. Good, balanced coverage by my favorite networks on this travesty so far. Or not. Wouldn't know actually, since i've banned those fools.
  4. Omegawd Linden. I'm gonna totally renew now.

  5. Orca is a fitting logo right now. Because Linden or whoever they bring in will be in over their head.
  6. At least Linden won't be like Kevin Lowe, bragging about how all those cup wins make him a winner. ...
  7. FailBAN LOLji has been wrong before.
  8. Maybe we could've drafted him instead of Schroeder if Maggie the Monkey was GM!
  9. OMG Skinnyboy Ehlers! Reminds me about how Gagner was supposed to be almost as good as Kane.
  10. Instead of seeing what they have to say, i'll take option B: BAN those fools! The Leafs collapsing is far more epic that the Canuck collapse, in that I never expected the Canucks to amount to anything this season, and the east if FAR weaker than the west. Any group of schmucks could've made the playoffs in the east, but there's the Leafs. Out again? And they looked as good as in a few weeks ago. F stands for Fail.
  11. I love how the players simply not scoring is the coach's fault. Um, no.
  12. He talked with him back in 2006... Prior to Nonis' termination... About becoming president and CEO of the Canucks.
  13. Game 7 Boston. Same thing. Sometimes you just know that it's over.
  14. Eliminated wut?

  15. Two more periods. Here we go.

  16. The point isn't that Vancouver is bad now that they're old and spent. The point is that Toronto, a much younger team with much more to prove, is still fairly bad even though they made the playoffs last season and got everyone's hopes up, looked improved this season early on, built a pretty good lead in the standings to make the playoffs again, and STILL managed to choke it away in a month. All that and the east is the easy conference to play in. When Vancouver was in the same position a few years ago, they climbed in the standings quite a bit and went on a 5-6 year run of pretty solid hockey. So not really a comparable, but the fact of the matter is Vancouver had a much, much better team back then than Toronto currently has now.

  19. Wow, I think Salming is right. Well there's your problem.
  20. I'm not sure how the Leafs could blow such a huge lead. I guess it all comes down to their too young defense, combined with Nonis' mismanagement. The key for their future will be if one of their young defenders becomes a stud. I think they're rushing Rielly a bit. There's no reason for him to be with the big club at the moment, being a 3rd pair minus-type guy. He should have spent two seasons in the A, learn the defensive game a lot more, and come into the bigs ready. Gardiner will never be reliable defensively and Franson is questionable as well. These three guys are big reasons why they're in the position they're in now. However, when is the last time they had a defensive stud in their lineup? I don't mean Phaneuf, i mean a legit one?
