Couldn’t score against the league’s worst PK, and then give one up to a struggling PP. This team is an embarrassment to the Bieksa era

Whoever thought to keep the stanchion from Bieksa’s iconic goal is a genius

Yeah I have, not because of our record, but because I'm not seeing any positive signs that we can turn it around. It's not like we have been playing well and just running into hot goalies or getting unlucky. We're getting completely outplayed in every facet of the game. We're being outshot, we're not generating quality scoring chances, our special teams are brutal, and players like Brock and JT, who we re-signed to lucrative contracts last season, are underperforming. I don't see the process being there where I can say "ok if we do this, this, and this, we can turn it around." I don't see this group having the skill or the character to do that.

All the Bieksa content today is just pure gold. I miss that version of the team so much. It was so authentic and there was so much pride and accountability in our on-ice product. Bieksa in particular has a terrific personality and he was such a big part of setting our culture here.
