Oh come on is nothing ever Luongos fault for you whiners what a joke. No goals are ever Luongos fault if you don't want there to be theres always be some small mistake a forward or defenseman would make. Get over making excuses thats on Luongo.
-
Ugh Luongo wtf. The team works their a$$es off dominating while playing great defense and Luongo blows all momentum with a a softy.
-
Looking for the Sedins to step their game up tonight. They've been a shadow of themselves most of the season and this team isn't going anywhere until they do.
-
He does and in the past when he looks jumpy it usually ends up a bad game by him. He's finally been on a good run lets hope we don't give up too many chances and shots and Luongo gets comfortable.
-
I said pretty much. Dumb is not reading properly then whining. Luongo is overly paranoid he had all kinds of time to give that puck safely to a unguarded teammate nearby and he decided to be chicken and get the whistle which led to the penalty then the goal. Small mistake but a mistake that cost us none the less.
-
Damn the penalty and goal against pretty much happens because Luongo is too chicken to move the puck and takes the whistle.
-
Torts has got to get over his hate for Kassian and put him with the Sedins. The Sedins have been pretty average most of the season and for the most part invisibe with Hansen.

[GDT] VAN vs EDM - 12/13/13 - 6PM - the Game before the Game
The Big Luongo replied to Strombone1's topic in Canucks Talk
This would be a good time to get the Sedins and Kassian going by finally putting them together and hopefully leaving them together giving them a chance. Although the Sedins have been decent this season they haven't looked themselves and i think Kassian would open up ice and add the power forward skill and grit that Bertuzzi did for Naslund and Morrison once given the chance. I can't see the Sedins and the Canucks having the success they want with the line combos we currently have or tried. It's time to put the beast with the two beauties. -
[GDT] Vancouver Canucks vs Carolina Hurricanes 7PM Dec 9th
The Big Luongo replied to Alex the Great's topic in Canucks Talk
Can't believe how calm and solid Lack looks this guy is a gem! Shoulders high unlike Luongo, square and always has his angles never out of control like Luongo, great rebound control and reflexes and plays the puck very well. Love this guy hope he gets the start against Edmonton. -
Lol its hilarious how stupid people are sometimes. He lets out a brutal rebound out on a fairly routine shot then makes a save and then gets credit by some fan who thinks he knows it all. I've seen this many of times in the past on one of his sloppy rebounds and see him get credit or he lets the juicy rebounds out then gets burnt out of position and nobody says a thing. Maybe its because that clown Garret usually has nothing bad to say about him and the foolish fans can't watch and figure it out themselves its beyond me how somebody can watch him play and say he's been good. Luongo is so overrated its not even funny. The guy is having a good game at a rate of about 1 out of every 5 its pathetic.

[Report] Canucks interested in Martin Erat
The Big Luongo replied to -Vintage Canuck-'s topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
I completely agree. There's no way i would trade Booth for Erat i have a feeling Booth will find his game and we would regret it. Booth could be a great player for us with his mix of size and skill when he hets his speed and overall game back. I'm really cheering for Booth he seems like a great guy and has been through a lot injury wise i really hope for him he can find his game. Its pathetic to see how so called fans beat a guy when he's down because of injuries and the fact he loves hunting and they're disappointed. Unbelievable. -
I don't agree with booing unless its on the refs. The Canucks are playing good enough hockey to win games and are squeezing the sticks too tight and not getting much help in net. The last thing i would do is boo them when they are already down and out and i support my team as a whole when they play well for the most part but just don't get the results.
-
Well i never once wanted Bieksa traded because i realised even at his worst he brought more good then bad and i believed in him and what great things he could do for this team overall including his heart. I have never really believed in these two weak links and i've pretty much been bang on.
-
This is fricken brutal that the team is working their a$$e$ off, outshooting and outplaying teams on a nightly basis and all they get for it is losses. There were a lot of postive signs and have been for this long bad streak their on and they're bound to get rewarded and go on a run after all this adversity. I would definitely be much more worried if they were flat out getting outshot and outplayed on a nightly basis. Problem is what i've been saying for years i just don't trust Luongo and Edler in the clutch and they just continue to prove the same old crap to me. Even though clearly we have had too much trouble finishing it just doesn't seem to matter how good the rest of the team plays these two soft as butter clowns are going to cost us big games when it counts more times then not. I can't believe it took all this time but people are finally seeing this. MG's biggest mistakes were signing Edler and Luongo.
-
I agree. Luongo hasn't exactly been stellar for years thats for sure and never had quick reflexes at all but now he looks as slow as a turtle.
-
Exactly. If every goalie was as soft as Luongo is on most nights there wouldn't be a defense that was considered good in the whole league. Your goalie has to come up large once in a while and unfortunately the only thing large is Luongo's stupid contract.

The Big Luongo replied to Blueberries's topic in Canucks Talk
The problem is that Luongo doesn't need to steal games because the Canucks outplay their opponents 90% of the time the problem is that he pretty much gets outplayed by every goalie we play on a nightly basis and then gets credit for doing his job somehow when he is one of the highest paid goalies in the league. -

Now more of that you can't stop us and we will do anything to win and battle attitude we may get a big win as long as we can finish and Luongo makes some saves and does his job. -

Those are good points and i understand that thinking but damn soon it will be midseason and we still don't have any set lines and that shouldn't be and doesn't help. Players play at their best when they develop chemistry with their linemates. -

Yes exactly and whats worse is that when he's up against softys like Sedins and Burrows types he acts like he is an enforcer. -

I agree plus it can't be easy for the players with all the line combos and changes to the roster every night to have any chemistry with your linemates. I really believe its a must to play at the highest level. Would love to see Torts just stick with his best instict on who's good with each other and let them develop some chemistry leaving them play together for a few games. I still think the Sedins would be far better producers on all levels with Kassian as their linemate and would probably bring Kassians game to a whole new level. -

This team is gripping their sticks so tight and overthinking now it looks like they may never score again. -

Everyone with half a brain knows that Luongos glove is weak why don't you go continue being a fool somewhere else.
