  1. Finally re-signed DeMerit. I loved his play when he came back from injury. He's a total beast, and he puts it out there every game. Amid every single negative this off season, it's great to finally have a clear, positive thing to go on. Also liking the news that Salgado is done healing, and finally ready to compete for a spot. I'm not liking Mattocks at all, so if Salgado can serve as a solid backup coming off the bench, I'm content with that.
  2. Lol, Bieber. Great match though. This more than makes up for Raonic faltering like he did. It's really exciting to have 3 Canadian players at once, able to compete at as high a level as this. It was so long having no one there, that this is very overwhelming. I'm loving it.
  3. To reiterate on what I had posted earlier, Camilo is a massive frackhead. It's not even that he's gone, it's the way that he left. Pissed all over the team, and then ran away. I did not want to see his face on the team this year after he began these antics, but I wish there was a way that he didn't get exactly what he wanted, because he disgusts me.
  4. I had a hard time sitting though Inland Empire. Ended up turning it off half way though. Feel like I shouldn't have done that, because forcing myself to turn it on to try and make it through again would be too much. Really loved Mulholland Drive though. That still remains one of the best movies I've seen to this day.
  5. From what I've heard, it seems like I'm an idiot for missing the J Cole concert tonight. Sounds like he really put on a show.

  6. "What's bugging Ray?" Ray's bugging me.

  7. That's a no, but I don't own either system. Was there anything on this last Raw that made it worth watching this week?
  8. It was funny to see the Chargers luck into the series of events that took them to the post season. Enjoyed that. Not nearly as much as watching that interception from Orton. As an Eagles fan, I couldn't imagine at the start of the season that they'd end up here.
  9. I like the Wyatt's quite a bit. Showed a lot of promise in NXT. After being called up and being used for nothing in particular, they're now getting more out of them. In ring stuff has been improving. If I ever happen to watch raw for whatever reason, I like the segments/matches they appear in. It's a creepy and effective gimmick. With all the tired crap that gets thrown out there, it's a nice change of pace to see a stable like their's. Would love if it one of those times they carried someone backstage after winning, that guy came out next week as a brainwashed member of the Wyatt's. They also need a fight with The Shield. That would be awesome.
  10. Came back from a ski trip to Big White yesterday. While it was awesome, i thought it was very nice to get home away from the snow as well. Then today happened.

  11. Sons of Anarchy season finale. Well that was depressing as hell. Don't want to say what happened, because spoilers, but they ended up ripping off the exact same storyline from an earlier season.

A bit worried...gonna watch the finale today and hope it's not as bad as you say

  12. Really liked that finale, with the crowd the way it was. Good promos by Orton and Cena as well (even if he was feeding off the cheap pop). Will be interested to hear in a few weeks how exactly they managed to screw it all up, lol.
  13. You shouldn't have EA and fix in the same sentence, unless you tie in the word "never".
  14. The eggnog latte from Starbucks is just nasty. I like eggnog, and I like their lattes, but this... never again.

  15. If I was there, I was probably defending the movie, because I liked it. I haven't changed my mind at all. I still really, really like it. I think at that time what annoyed me was not the simple bashing of the movie, because people can dismiss it all they want, as that on it's own doesn't bother me. What did though was in that same breath it was always directly compared to Inception, which was supposed to be some sort of paragon of creativity and story telling prowess. To which I have to lol.
  16. Well, they're corporations pushing consoles, which are in their important initial launch stages, lol. They're there to make money. One posting a reason why they are superior is not a problem. Especially when the point is valid. They aren't humans. There are no feelings. They're billion dollar companies. I think that somehow seems to get lost in all these blind console wars, lol.
  17. I think that's the key. It was not gangs of Sony fanboys that were making fun of the system, which for whatever reason many people have convinced themselves is the case. What actually happened was there was a group of potential customers that got pissed off over a company that tried to treat them like they were stupid, while offering an inferior console, at a higher price point, while imposing incredible restrictions in their ability to simply pop in a game and play, People saw BS. People called out the BS. The company repaired the BS. That's the story.
  18. You don't have to chalk it up to stubbornness, lol. I mean there's zero wrong with trading a game in, especially if you're tight on cash, but if you're like me and enjoy collecting and/or replaying games often, then there's reason to keep and hold them.
  19. 2 Guns - 6/10 Along with RED 2, I dunno what it is about these comic book adaptations that I just watched that hate the government so much. They're not just inept, or corrupt, but in these movies are instead just pure evil. The assumptions that are presented, and the conclusions that it jumps to are just too much. It has some decent action, and is at times sorta funny, but as a movie it's nothing really all too special. Lmao
  20. Not entirely sure how GSP won his match. I think the judges had it wrong. But Hendricks was such a sore loser in his post game interview that I have a hard time feeling sympathy for him.

  21. I thought the Fountain sucked, but I was alight with Garden State. It was not a brilliant movie, but it's better than most that carry a strong indie/hipster vibe.
  22. RED 2 - 5/10 Was pretty blah. Started off in a manic and nonsensical way that made it hard to understand, or even care about what was happening. Though it shapes more into form in the latter half. Either way it's not quite good enough.
  23. In Bruges was awesome, yeah. Better than Seven Psychopaths for sure (though that movie was decent in it's own right.) The Guard was watchable as well, but again, it's another that's not quite as good.
