  1. Chicago/ Nashville game is the stuff of conspiracy theories.

Refs were horrible for both sides

  2. MSI. A relatively thin laptop, but it has a 17" screen. Not that I really use it that often at home while gaming, because I just plug the HDMI into my TV. Was about to opt for an ASUS, from what I knew of their quality, but I went with MSI when I saw a better performance per dollar invested ratio. I had heard their builds were quality, and the thing has been great so far.
  3. Not at 4k, lol. But it'll run. It's a gaming laptop, not a macbook.
  4. I do have a 750 GB Hard drive on my laptop, but yeah, too many games, lol. I bought a laptop I knew had an expandable hard drive space for a SSD or whatever, but I haven't gone forward with said plan. With a laptop that's beginning to creep towards 2 years in age, I'm probably going to replace it soon enough, so I dunno about the upgrade. Though if I can just plug said new hard drive into whatever new machine I buy. My external hard drive is a finicky POS that disconnects whenever it feels like it. It's enough for backing up data like I want, but not an option for game, and not something that I necessarily want to spend a $100 to upgrade on. I just keep unistalling old games as I get new ones, I already have like 550-80 GB dedicated to games, it's just that the new ones are getting so massive. I had to start uninstalling last fall to accomodate other space hogs like The Evil Within and Shadow of Mordor, and with all my new games since, I've wiped out somewhere between 300-350 GB of space for accommodation in these relatively few months. I could fix all that by just investing in hard drive space as you said, which I might.
  5. Toronto manages to not only be graded A, but be the only city get that grade twice over for different venues, lol. That's impressive, really.
  6. RIP. My hard drive isn't ready for that, lol. I will get the game eventually, and it will just require uninstalling 3-4 games just to find the space for it.
  7. I heard the game is 7 discs large. How much hard drive space does it take to install?
  8. I don't have a working PVR for the TV in my bedroom, so I was debating with myself whether or not I should risk watching the show in the living room while my grandmother was there... Lost that gamble badly, lol. Made a lot of use of the fast forward though. Was a probably a good situation to find out how to use whatever variant of HBO Go there is in Canada. I thought the episode was alright, seemed like a decent set up for things to come. Seems like the complaining is coming from people who have torrented all of the leaked episodes, so that doesn't exactly sound promising in what is to come. But based on the one I've seen, it seemed reasonable enough.
  9. Fast and the Furious 7 - 3/10 A waste of my time. One set piece to another, without any rhyme or reason. It's that type of style I can never buy into. I haven't been that bored watching a movie in a long time. They jumped the shark a while ago with the 4th movie, but they keep trying to one up themselves so that nothing anything anyone does or wants to do makes any sense any more. I remember back when the series was about cars, and racing. And not whatever clusterfrack of things it is now. It's like a very poor man's Mission Impossible, if I could describe it. I thought at the very least there'd be some continuation off of the third movie, the only one that I really enjoyed, but I guess not, because the guy from that movie continued to actually race cars and crap. He was a bit of a whiny umbrella in that movie, but they have been employing Tyrese Gibson, who's an annoying umbrella on a whole different level. Why he get's paid to do movies like this, I don't know. I would pay to keep him off my screen. Paul Walker's character was one of the only ones I didn't mind, so RIP, I guess. I too wept for that Blue GTR. It didn't deserve that fate. Edit: Oh, and age 26. Lol. Edit 2: Umbrella? Solid swear filtering.
  10. Loup has cleaned up nicely enough, but yeah, Gibbons shouldn't have left Hutchinson in there to drown like that.
  11. Missed the game, but I regret it. All of whatever had happened this season aside, a win like that is a nice pick me up.
  12. Yeah I think they'll pull this out. Their bats are on fire.
  13. Yeah, I like the week to week format. Gives you a period to just soak it all in and sit on what happened.I like to think I have enough control to exercise that option, lol.
  14. I think someone must have it me over the head, because I'm being dragged to this movie, lol. I have still yet to see 6, but hopefully it's nothing like 5. I still hate that movie. One of the later trailers I watched for it in theatres suggested in might not be horrible.
  15. Yeah, I'll be waiting for it to just air on HBO. The thing that bothers me will be how many spoilers will have to be ducked for the next month.
  16. You know the reffing is atrocious when you have Jason de Vos defending the Whitecaps, let alone in a very passionate manner. Like anyone just tuning in to test out the Whitecaps or soccer in general is going to be turned off when two guys get kicked out of a game for playing footsies. But serious, get Kah out of a starting spot, lol. How are we playing a centre back who can't corral the ball, or handle crosses? Would've been nice to see a shot on target, but that was asking to much with the way the team played.
  17. He really filled the gap when Demerrit left. When you sign a guy known for his big body, headers. and subbing in as a striker, you wouldn't expect solid defensive awareness and tight play to come into the package as well like they have. He has been great. The hole formed by O'Brien's departure is still vacant though. I hope Rodriguez can do the job. He was really solid in the one full game he played for us. Pa modou Kah isn't the answer.
  18. Loblaw's right, that's really not a special price. You could import an actual copy across the ocean for cheaper than that Says a lot about that pricepoint.
  19. Watch for when you're swiping keys from different regions though. Steam enables a partnership with publishers/distributors that allows them to block certain countries from playing games on a whim, because frack you for trying to play a game you bought. Steam makes no exceptions to this, so don't bother even trying to contact them and their non-existent customer service if you make a mistake. I've run into this, but publishers can be really accommodating if you explain yourself properly, and especially if you bought a physical DVD form with a proof of purchase. Like even Capcom of all companies recently helped me when I told them how stupid it was that Resident Evil Revelations 2 from the UK was unplayable in Canada. They offered me a different American key for it in its place. Bigger problem occurs when you make the mistake of buying a region locked Valve game, like all my Valve games are. You can't go to Steam, because as I said, they do nothing. You can't go to the publisher Valve... Because they are Steam. So you're left with literally nowhere to go. For this reason I haven't been able to play any of the Valve games I bought when I lived in India for over 2 years now. One of the reasons I hate this new account associated DRM, so very, very, very much. Artificial constructs standing between gamers and games. Make sure the key is universal, or ROW, or whatever. Not region specific. Avoid any potential problems.if you're going fishing like this. I'm assuming a system like the one you linked to has safeguards for this, but from experience I can say that region locks creep up from out of nowhere when you don't expect it.
  20. I deport Luca Sbisa

  21. Like Shaky said, it sucks having to worry about your players being too good. I hope if he keeps scoring he's at least here until the end of the season.
  22. Like the kick off and return changes. The conversion ones could work, except the possibility of implementing a 3 point conversion sounds like $&!#. The DB/Reciever contact one is going to receive a lot of groans and complaints as the season goes on. I don't like it, and we're going to be getting a lot of phantom calls throughout the season.
  23. My favourite part is when The Shawshank is Redeemed. That's actually the only scene of that show I've seen. Saw it as my brother was watching the show. It was as good a preview as I could have gotten.
  24. ... And you used to call me douchebag. Yikes, lol.
  25. The Shining, Misery, Pet Sememtary for me. Stand By Me would be my favourite of his non-horror adaptations, as I think The Shawshank Redemption is crazy overrated.
